New ones can find at bike production, ASP or even MAH. Many shops also sells them so you might wanna look and ask around the shops for actual rates.

Old ones quite hard to find but if u can wait, a lucky one will appear sometimes. lol

Thanks but will pass for now. I think SWT400 is only 2009 onwards. The SWT400 look is better than prior Swing model. Btw, you got Class 2A yet? Taking mine soon. :)

Just some quick info:

1- This 'kang tao' is for the Rear Shock Absorber only,

2- Hagon Shocks Authorised Dealer in asia only in Hong Kong,

3- Boon siew selling a pair of stock 600+ buck excluded GST,

4- Bitubo Rear shocks abt 800++,

5- I m using the Hagon shock, IMO, its not tat stiff, i find it ok with me. ( You dont need to pass a hump or kerb at a speed, right? not healthy even for stock shocks too. )

6- No obligation. Not asking ppl to buy. Its only a offer..

7- Closing Soon for tis thread.

i'm planning to get a Class 2A scooter, but no idea in which one to choose (comparing in terms of maintenance, fuel consumption, insurance).

Below are some of the bikes that i'm considering (and know of):

2. Silver Wing

3. Yamaha Majestic

appreciate if anyone can help me out :)

thanks in advance!

What's your budget? Silverwing is a good choice....Not because I own one....I searched high and low for 2 years before a reasonable one comes under my scope....

silver wing 400cc :thumb:

if budget got constraint, a used one would still be a good buy due to its reliability.

between your 3 listed choices, SW's main disadvantage is it's size/weight (largest/longest). about 250kg with fluid, box and basic barangs, it's definitely less zippy among the 3.

but if you would like to tour as well, it's a proven tour scooter which many kakis has rode to tongyum land

added:

SW is the only Class 2A scooter with 2 cylinders (parallel twin), 4 valves per cylinder. you can feel the smoothness of the engine, especially when touring on NSHW (speed limit is "110km/h") :p
