Tonight will be going to Serangoon Gardens to return a DVD..... heh heh...

But then immediately after will be flying down someplace else for a secret meeting with other ARC members.... heh heh heh....

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Hi Axxiss

Arrow is illegal... or very exp for legal version, is that rite ? i dont know

and I don't need the speed that much

how fast do you wan to go in singapore

normal milo pipe is good enough for me

ok, when are you planning to leave it in law's place ?

my bike is there until tmr or friday latest.

My carb shdn't hav any problem, tested on the street...

Trust me buddy. It's not the speed that your should be worried about, when you leave that sh1tty Milo kong on.

It's the cornering clearance!

I have the unenviable experience of eating the tarmac big time after said Milo Kong lifted my rear wheels off the ground years ago while deep in a corner. Major ouch. That fat pipe is a disaster waiting to happen.

A legal arrow cost $800 buck is it?

I don't know about you but back then when I wanted to get a 125, IF there was such thing as a legal Arrow I would not be riding my lao pok phantom now. I didn't get it because it doesn't make sense that I can't even buy a 'stock' RS (the milo kong is not stock, to me) with good money.

On the other hand, with the widespread knowledge of legal Arrows, will the attention on 125 sporting slender pipes diminish? Hmm...

In fact, my carb is 34 mm but Law said it's not much use since I use milo pipe.

So, I'm thinking to switch to 28 mm, but prev owner nvr giv me stock 28 mm carb.

Any of you hav 28 mm and interested to switch to 34 mm ?

I thinking since I service the carb anyway, might as well change it,

save petrol consumption.

Petrol nowadays..... very ex......

Anyone interested ???

I have a 28mm Mikuni flatside, you interested? Sell you cheap cheao...don't think I need a 34 mm

Hi Xiongz, i wanted a 34mm carb but due to financial constrains i can't afford to switch to one, i would be glad if i could switch with you, and if you ever do get a arrow, i'll promise i will give you back your 34mm carb if you requested it.

Always be prepared.

YOUR QUESTION

Need some help on RS250 fuel consumption... is 10Km/L scary??

MY RESPONSE

jgwh21> sounds pretty freakin bad to me but I've never owned one. Anyway, when you buy/ride an RS250 fuel consumption obviously isn't your main concern.

YOUR REPLY

Axxis>> Ermm.. YA... duh... I know a 250 is a fuel guzzler.. AND yes price of fuel isnt my top list concern..

BUT i'm sure I have the right to know whether is this the correct consumption rate or is my jettings way off.

And obviously.. I am not as EXPERIENCED as you in the biking community, thats why I have to beg for some help here.

I appreciate comments, but absurb comments like yours makes me feel like you look upon me as a total bike idiot. Futhermore, I guess if you cant help, please........ do refrain from posting info that helps nothing.

Oh...... and for the rest of the guys out there... if you consider this a flame or personal wacking..... It Is.

AND ANOTHER

“a comment posted the likes of Axxis shows how much he knows only.”

Take a freakin chill pill dude(try a Xanax). You’ve blown this thing so far out of proportion it’s not funny. My comment was far from absurd (maybe you want to look up the meaning in the dictionary).

If you’re that sensitive you should try posting VERY clearly what kind of replies you want from your questions. “Is it scary?” what kind of response did you expect?

Most ppl in here are pretty cool and don’t act like they’ve just been butt ****ed because of something like that. You can try blaming it on age etc if you want but sadly I’m one of the old ones in here. Say what you want. Maybe you can blame it on the fact that I’m white. That should work wonders.

Either way if you want to participate in internet forums you have to learn to take everything with a pinch of salt. I was going to just leave it alone after your initial comment but you’re acting like a chick with a real bad case of PMS.

if u wan it fast... u mus pay for it 1...

xiung> Maybe a better idea is to exchange with Visor seeing as he doesn't have a 34mm carby at the moment. Otherwise if you still want mine let me know.

Yes, some arrow pipes are illegal (the cheap 2nd hand ones) and the legal ones are about $700. Having one makes a BIG difference to the way your engine pulls and greatly improves cornering clearance (once you change the sidestand which is designed to clear the milokong).

Having one makes a BIG difference to the way your engine pulls and greatly improves cornering clearance (once you change the sidestand which is designed to clear the milokong). I currently have the illegal one on mine but I'm seriously considering upgrading to the legal version so I can ride it around Singapore without fear of getting a hefty fine. Seeing as I seldom ride my bike the illegal pipe wasn't of too much concern originally. I know law used to have the illegal one on his bike and rode it around like that for quite a while before changing to the new version.

How I wished we had llike legal ones back then... every session, gotta spend the night before switching pipes and setting it up... after the session, gotta take it apart and switch them back... (its worse after you crash....with abrasions and still you gotta work on it) hahaaa~~

Anyway. ... whats the diff b.w the legal and "illeagal" Arrows?? except for out look...?

250s have the legal ones as well I presume?

Thats the big big reason why i change to legal arrow. If I had bought the newer RS, i would like been able to use the money for buying suit.

Hai, tell me about it, thinking back, i am unpleased with stupid rules which certain govt agencies set and regulate. It just does not make sense.

Hi Visor,

Sure, I can switch with you.

Urm, you need a 34 mm carb , right ?

Prev owner of my bike gave me another set of carb

I'll look for it at home,

if I'm not wrong it's also 34 mm

so you can choose ^^

Where do you stay ?

BTW, you know how to install the carb ?

The expansion chamber (belly) seems considerably larger on the new ones when you place it side by side with the old one. Apparently the new one has slightly better bottom end and not quite as much top end as the old one.

jack blue extrema i presume ?

anyway nice to see a fellow aoc-ian back again.

fyi rs250 was never designed as a road bike thus no legal pipes for it. altho we wished they did have it cos at least if the original pipes went bent, broken, leaking, we could have an alternative replacement.
