NoLicense2: mine does nearly 200 without reserve ( i dun drag gears or wack it) 34mm keihin carb n arrow system.mine considered quite bad alrdy so i cant imagine yours going only 110km... might wanna take it to FM for tuning?

no petrol sia ,than call ask friend wad happen they say turn reserve ----

but nvr try untril reserve finish befor, scared later no petrol half way ---

how much u all pay for ur full tank...

And caltex is better or Vpower ----

110km is pretty bad, i must say. Even with V power, having half the mileage of the average mileage of at least 200km, is riduclous too, at most the mileage could drop between 20km to 50km at most.

 

 

anyway what carb size are you using? jet size?

 

are you sure no one is stealing petrol from your fuel tank?

 

 

Caltex is better or V-power is better? Caltex gets its oil refined by Shell, so what additivies they have added, they sell it under Caltex, Vpower is made by shell by their chemist, how much better and which is better, well it depends on yourself.

Running out of petrol on expressway is a bookable offence so when u call Emas for help just dun say tat u run out of petrol can liao.

 

The Lowest milage for an RS tat i heard is 160km per full tank , using 39mm carb and polini kit plus very aggressive riding style. either ppl stealling petrol from u , or u got a very serious leaking problem either at fuel **** area , carb overflow , carb leaking . go find out..

Its an 03 model FZ plate with brand new sportec M1 tyres, new chain made in italy, new ceramic carbon brake pads, new arrow system, gpr steel braided brakehose, 34mm keihin carb, NGK racing spark plug cable, full service done up alrdy(valve cleaned, EO changed etc...)

Previous owner was Alan:) engine is in solid condition mileage only 32000km

Btw the previous problem with my bike in my earlier post was due to a blown fuse n has been replaced. PS bike has been tuned for street riding so its quite smooth at low end. If wanna go track just retune.

 

Wondering y i need to sell it after buyin for 1 month? Need to get married cos i made a silly mistake.

kinda regretted getting my current rs125 too.. not that the bike's no good, but the previous owner's claim during advertising was just all wrong

I am selling my speedo gear plus cable for $60. The speedo gear was brought 1st hand for $130 cable $20 at nov last yr and was only used for 3 months before i laid up my bike. Reasons for selling is simply becos it cant fit into my new fork. This speedo gear can be fitted onto Y2K and replicas. I am also selling my meters .

Based on my little bit of knowledge, check e power valves 1st. Most probably they are not opening.

 

Save your money. Stock reeds r still the best. Its e cage that needs parting out but there's no plug-n-play cage avaliable for our bike.

You can try adapting VForce cage for your bike though. I believe some of us here r really eager to know e difference.

All other after-market reeds are useless as far as I know. In some cases there are even loss of HP.

 

I think you will do better searching the overseas Aprilia or RGV forum.

 

Appreciate your help in this matter. Guess I would just have to ride it on the tracks and get up to speak on the bike first before thinking of adding more power to the bike.

 

My current bike is pretty stock with the only mods being piper cross air filter and a decarbonised exhaust belly. The rest of the stuff are more towards improving the handling, new rear shocks, rebuilt forks and set up for my weight,, brake lines, galffer discs, etc.

 

Would be happy if I can go below 2mins consistently! You think its possible with enough practise?

depend on the grade and type as from wat i know there is a few type

No worries, 2 mins can be done easily on a stock 250 after some practise. I think Wacko did 1:58 before?

I am considering to sell away my following items to make way for new parts.. all the parts are in good working condition.. just tat i am upgrading

1) Marchesini 3 spook cast magnesium rims front and rear, $650 , Bearing changed last nov and $840 include a relatively new GPR 100 used also for 3 mths

2) Galfer wavey disc $280 , used for 3 mths only

3) Brembo 16x18 master pump $400 , caliper $500 include a extra set of pads ($70)

4) brembo rear brake pump (new) same as original 11mm , $120

plus a NEW unused set of tasty nuts tank bolt kit for y2k and 03 bikes.. this set is anodised REd and will not rust like original screw kits.. selling for $10 .. new is $15..Still in packaging unopen yet
