Powervalves for S$160

Those who missed out, next shipment will be arriving end September 2009.

Also included in end September shipment:

- balancing gears (heavy vibrations? change in engine pitch? time to change... )

- front & rear brake pin, spring and circlip set

- more powervalves

- voltage regulator (rectifier)

- airbox manifold (for 34mm carbs; most manifolds are from the 1996-1998 pre-28mm carb models, and are hard and brittle by now)

- gear lever with swivel end (so it doesn't break if you crash)

- Dellorto VHSB 34mm carb (yes am buying a new carb so my old 34mm carbie is for sale!)

The abovementioned items are for myself, but if you wish to piggyback your own item with my orders, please PM me.

I'm not sure if trackday is at 9am or 10am.

Will confirm timing before we sort out the details.

The plan is to meet at my place then we shoot to PG straight. I vaguely remember the way.

Hi Sub Zero,

Track day starts at 10 am.

Macarena and I usually meet at Esso Gelang Patah by 9am and we leave by about 9.15 or so to get there on time for the 10 am start. We normally leave about 12 pm when the 5 lap challenge starts and get back by 1.30pm or so.

;x anyway , i just cleaned my valve and there's like bee sound when i throttle more than 3k rpm ,first time hearing this sound after 1 yr. and previously when i went to mah to change the valve and stem , the ****er never put back properly and all the oil was splashing around my engine area. Mech says it's because of the valve too clean after he clean for me so explains this sound but it'd go away after 2-3 weeks of riding making the valve dirty again. what **** nonsense!? dun know if this mech knows what to do , went to him because he did my previous bikes many years ago and he charged cheap his workshop was recmmended by my friend's own workshop @ amk autopoint.

And in cheap , i mean 5$ for carb , 10$ for valve, i was sitting there for about 2 hours while he slogged it out.

Don't doubt the efforts but the knowledge for aprilia. how leh? dun wanna spend my weekends at fm rectifying if it's not a problem at all.

I remember paying $100 for hotel, RM80 for Main Grand Stand Tickets, and about rm100 for petrol.. and the rest for food, and shopping.. I think.. Those who went last year, pls correct me if I'm wrong.

***We are looking at service apartments, if you have any suggestions, pls feel free to share. A certain sum will need to be paid after a few meetings to discuss accomodation and itenary. This is to avoid any last minute back off after hotel/apartment booking.

Most likely we are going to start discussing this during our meet-ups starting next month, and more seriously in September. So those interested, pls try to come down in future and upcoming impromptu meet-ups if you have enquiries, or any ideas/suggestions to share.

i have found 1 service apartment,actually a condotel (condo + hotel).Its RM118 per person for the 2 nights.The apartment is in the city itself and has pool(to relax aft hrs of racing),gym (to keep fit n buildup stamina to last 40 laps of races) n playground (for those who bring kids haha..) the place also has security guard n the perimeter is secure.anyway pictures speak a thousand words.here is the webby

If all okay with the place, pls make a deposit payment of RM59 to Khai in the next meet up meant for Sepang Trip discussion. I'm afraid this sum is not refundable should you back out last minute. This is so we can proceed with booking the place without having anyone of us to make an upfront payment, the balance charge for the accomodation are to be paid one week before we proceed down to Sepang - usually we have one last meet-up one week before the trip.

Those who would like to meet up tonight pls inform quikslvr aka Isa @ 9357 8007 so we can arrange a place and time for any enquiries that you may have. We will try to answer as much as we can to our upmost knowledge with reference to last year's trip.

Thanks for the heads up. My friend kept telling me that trackday now starts at 9am which he apparently saw on the website. I tried checking it out, but the website seems to be under construction. Hope to see you there! Hmm, how to know it's you? Must ask Daniel to intro us!

Hmm, I'm sorry but i'm not too sure of this. Maybe the others here can help you. Just to clarify, this workshop was recommended by your friend's workshop? Which workshop is this at Autopoint? Your friend is the owner?

Your servicing is really very cheap btw.
