***We are looking at service apartments, if you have any suggestions, pls feel free to share. A certain sum will need to be paid after a few meetings to discuss accomodation and itenary. This is to avoid any last minute back off after hotel/apartment booking.

Most likely we are going to start discussing this during our meet-ups starting next month, and more seriously in September. So those interested, pls try to come down in future and upcoming impromptu meet-ups if you have enquiries, or any ideas/suggestions to share.

i have found 1 service apartment,actually a condotel (condo + hotel).Its RM118 per person for the 2 nights.The apartment is in the city itself and has pool(to relax aft hrs of racing),gym (to keep fit n buildup stamina to last 40 laps of races) n playground (for those who bring kids haha..) the place also has security guard n the perimeter is secure.anyway pictures speak a thousand words.here is the webby

ytd ah seng washed my valve, caburettor, change gear oil, tuning abit(more smooth but not optimum) due to prob below:

ah seng took out the ( pls fill in for me subzero ) to check whether the advancer or key for my gianelli exhaust is fitted to the ( ?? ). Dun have! before i have called mah to ask whether its fitted, they said have. -_-'

this morning i went to take the key from mah. later going first motor.

But not necessarily , being in a different group requires at least a monster or a 848 to begin with , as i've came across 18 19 yrs old riders paying 1.5k$ downpayment and dragging their aprilias for 5 years and i'm sure 1 year down the road they'd give it up due to financial issue. Anyone can walk into a shop and drive out with a GTR35 but is it lasting ?

its not abt kampong boy vs city boy.dam is hardly peaceful at all.the mat rempits challenging each other on the straights,music playing from the cars,bikers arrive n go and revving loudly as they zoom past.want peace n tranquility,i prefer henderson waves or marina barrage.windy,nice views though sometimes got a lot of ppl.

fyi im a kampong boy @ heart.born in malaysia,have a kampong there,bathe in the streams,chased chickens...

To them, the dam is like kampong area. Dim lights, water surrounding everywhere.. Personally, I prefer places where I can have a quiet little spot to clear my mind and I think I found a new place to think things thru. Tuas beach

fyi, I'm sort of a kampong boy myself. Grandma's place was at Bukit Mertajam in penang.. Still remember the days when I was there.. Would go to the jungle at the back of the house to climb trees and pluck rambutans

From what I understand regarding the valve, when you start your engine, your valve immediately opens as well, when your bike is idling. Around 2.5K RPM, the valve closes. As you climb thru the rev range, it opens again about 8.25K RPM, giving the power boost.

If the valve is stuck in the closed position, there will be a loss of power at the low end, and also at the top end. Moving off from a stopped position would be more difficult, and requires more throttle. If the valve is stuck in the open position(which i have not encountered before), i suspect there will be bogging through the rev range, no smooth output of power.

I highly doubt Mah would have done any tuning when they changed the exhaust. Why should they? 99% of new riders know nothing, so they dont bother. By right, the change of exhaust demands an increase in the main jet and is usually best complimented by a 34mm carb.

I need to retune / change my gear oil already. Cleared my running in within a week of getting the bike back and I've yet to send it back for service.

Their poor people skills force them to compensate by getting material things to attract attention, to command respect, to be looked up to. Most bike/car owners have an underlying need to be associated to a group because they don't have the confidence to create their own identity.

It's easy to spot the most desperate of these people, too. They usually hide behind their chains, necklaces, jewellery, etc. Psychologists say that the bigger the bling on his neck, the smaller his mojo.

There are many nice places to go to. I think many people are holding back on suggestions because they just don't want to be embarrassed by a horde of poorly-tuned smoke machines fogging up the entire venue upon arrival and departure. Especially when we know the owners or most of the other patrons there.

If everyone can carpool, I have a looooooooooong list of great places with cheap awesome food and cheap beer.

Just lose the smoke machines, please.

It shows how negative you are towards this whole meeting up thing. Anyways, Its about us trying to understand you as a person. I know of someone here who talks without considering the other party's feelings but when i meet him personally, he's not really bad at all. In fact he's pretty nice and helpful. As what i'hv observed from your posts previously. You seemed to know abit or two abt our bike so i dont see what's wrong with us meeting up and share some of our experiences and knowledge with each other. Lastly, there's no need to tell me what you are going to say to me in front of my face in future. If you really want to do that, do it when you see me. That's the time when i said ' wu ji lai' in your face.
