haha passed today or yesterday rather..

Waaaahhh! Juz pass & got bike oreadi standby @ home?

sum ppl hav all the luck! :thumb:

Well anyway, the slight power loss @ 5.5rpm is normal on a 125 with 28mm carb...This can be solved after a few "tweaks" like....well, *ahem* DavidDw's "Full Powered" bike, Only then u will feel the difference...

NEVERTHELESS, let me say it again on why I dun believe in "secret" recipes....

*cough*cough*

Running in distance, just head up to KL and back.

Ingredients needed are:

1) Time

2) At least 2 bottles of 2T

3) A Disciplined right wrist

4) A crazy brain with a backup plan

5) Very big balls!

As to how to run in the brand new bike?

Read the manual. :)

All brothers, anywhere got good deals on paddock stand or does anyone have spares and want to sell ?

I have a brand new unused paddock stand going for S$70 that I ordered through PJ. http://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Aprilia_RS125_Accessories.html

My bike is almost full stock. But then... the power is... heh heh...

The real secret is in the jetting. No mechanic will bother to set your bike sui sui like you will do for yourself.

My fuel consumption of my 10 yr old bike is 35km/L. I change spark plug once a year, and when I wash my valve...

heh heh... Sing with me guys, "I can do magic!.." LOL

Never had a seizure due to carb jetting. EVER. EVER

Wow, good news... PJ now sells Pirelli Diablo Front & Rear Tyres for S$330 excluding shipping! (S$430 with shipping)

http://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Aprilia_RS125_Tyres.html

This means we no longer have to wait an eternity for local bike shops to lie to us endlessly about when our tires will arrive.

We can just order the tires with the rest of our regular shipments and have them delivered in 2 weeks.

Also, on a side note, PJ just provided me with the tracking number of our last shipment.

not forgetting the nice replacement speedo meter($80) that gave way after riding for 2 months?

BANG for the buck?

(: NEW KOSO! @ 400+ which the shop (that i left $4281 in exchange for taking 3 full months to overhaul) quoted "...koso? maybe... $800+?"

http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd73/elr0y/DSC00007.jpg

omg..... $4000+ ! what happen to your bike :faint:

Nothing. Took it to the wrong shop.

But I disagree with the replacement speedo being short-lived. That's a very old model speedo. You need to factor in age fatigue. I bought a similar speedometer (1998 Replica series) for $100, gave way when I was tightening the nuts.

I bought mine direct from the manufacturer.

If can, please help me buy a few more sets back. :)

all this is just a reminder to other new riders like me not to be a dumb ass to dance with snake-charmers. anyway.. HELLO people i'm Elroy :)

Hi Elroy, welcome.:)

All prices are alright except that they charged you VERY market list price. They charge every single little items till very detail. They didn't provide you some discount after doing so many things with them that all. Koso meter of that model cost about 4XX only.
