Aprilia Riders

Enlighten me, Im running on premix and as I'm in camp my bike does not run 5 days in a go. Do I have to shake up the mixture?

Hey guys! I just bought myself A new Aprilia rs125 '. Wondering what should i take the most precautious one? Like the battery? And any pro aprilia specialist that can tune my bike to it's racing stats?

Anyways there's an issue with my tank, I'm not sure if its dirt or rust peeling off in my tank, basically I pumped out my fuel to lose some weight prior to removing it and I noticed some particles floating inside the last 2 litres of my fuel as I pumped them out. I'm getting deterrents such as a tank stopper, but what concerns me is if the issue is the rusting. I wasnt too concerned until a 1cm by 1cm particle floated in my pump tube.

 

Does having a full tank prevent such a effect?

I'm going 1:50 now. I could lean it out as it's wet at the exhaust, but I ride pretty hard so I'm being cautious.

ahahah, ^5 to having **** in ur fuel tank! u mite wanna take apart ur fuel cap n check e locking mechanisms inside, rust could b from there, post 06models dun have e fuel knob so i think tt shld b e only place rust is coming in...

The r-series have made it thru the pages, aprilia riders? Read thru the interviews, cant believe such bikes can go up to 180km/hr whereas some of our heavily mod aprilians can only get up to 170+km/hr.

1:50? In 1 litre of petrol u put 50ml of 2t? Isnt tat too much!

In every 50ml of petrol you put 1ml of 2t or in other words, 1litre petrol: 20ml 2t

Guys I'm having a prob. I recently changed my battery and sometimes when it's on idle, the voltage will go as low as 10.5v which gets damn scary. The voltage does goes up to maybe ard 14v on high rev.

 

Avg idle volt is 11.8v. Is it the batt prob or the rectifier? I'm using the wet cell.

I think it's alright bro. Like i told u, the rectifier starts charging the battery after 4000RPM. Should be fine.

Its purely my own opinion but i think u shud have used the stock bike first. then install the parts one by one. that way u will know what improvements ur money bought u. Nw u will only feel the aftermarket parts and wouldnt know what changes they made to the bike.

I strongly hold on to the belief that the only person who will get ur bike to perfection is urself. No one else will. As the saying goes, if u want things done right u got to do it urself =D

aha so i see u bought the "works RS" version....thats a good initial start up ,the works package cost far less compared to u having to buy it seperatly bar the arrow and Ohlins,the rest doesnt need any tweaking whatsoever...

with regards to tuning... i guess u probably meant tuned to a reasonable state..user friendlyness state as most RS riders here have...

 

because the best tuner is ...... you,yourself...get a mechanic to tuned to a reasonable state but what 1 mechanic term as good might not suit into yer liking but another rider might find it otherwise....its different riding style...the basics done here are the carbs n exos and u have a bike reasonable enough for street riding but still its riders preference,do the basic set up and start tweaking from there till u get yer ideal set up to suit yer riding style

some may have the best street riding RS125 but when they get to the track,they probably didnt know what hit them when the other slow street riding RS come gushing by or vice versa.
