Even though my RS 125 is more challenging to ride than the Monster, it is quicker in acceleration, nimbler in chicanes, turns tighter in corners, has a higher top speed, stops better, and is just pure fun.

 

The Monster is simply a more functional, utilitarian bike to have for transportation and grocery shopping.

 

To liken the RS125 and the Monster to women, if the Monster is boring and stable like the wife, then the RS125 is like the fun-loving and exciting mistress you can always rely on to perk you up when life gets too boring. heh heh...

 

If you can afford it, keep your RS125s!

As much as I would love to keep it, I cannot afford to. I need to liquidate my assets to get some money to be invested in business.

 

It ain't easy for me, you know. In the last 7 years, I've invested more than 1,000 man hours on it, and have dumped over $40K into it to get it where it is today. Essentially only the frame and engine is stock. There is very little you can possibly upgrade on it.

 

The dream bike I've envisioned it to be? It's already done. No more check boxes left unchecked on the To-Do List.

In light of the recent surge in Aprilians selling their bikes, i was thinking of organizing one big meet up and hopefully gather up all the RS together before they are sold off. I was thinking of sth in the likes of the meet up at Kallang Mac/East Coast Carls Jr and Simpang Bedok last year.

 

The idea is simple. Meet up. Sit down makan talk cock. After that, we start our engines, pollute the environment abit, grab the attention of all the people in the area, then move off and go riding somewhere, maybe Yishun Dam or sth. What do you guys think?

haha gd idea! i was thinking abt holding a mass rs sale... smth like a garage sale? we advertise it on facebook/sbf/watever u can think of. find a place which can hold e lot of us legally n juz 4 e day b wif friends, promote their bikes they wish to sell n bid their rides fairwell... can even have like an auction event or smth like tt... i think tis is e best way to really support our friends hu r wanting to sell of their rides... wat ya'll think?

take ur pic... if its a solid color on e whole bike i suggest juz getting a sticker... waiting time shorter, cheaper n if u ever get bored of e color, peeling it off will reveal ur bike's original paintwork...
