Anyone keen for a 1-hour track session at Pasir Gudang on Saturday 30 April 2005? Axxis (RS125) and I (RS250) will be going for the 10-11am session (weather permitting of course). Aim is to just have fun. Should be back in Singapore by 1.00pm.

Aiya... my buds and I are aiming for the Monday (Labor Day holiday-in-lieu) session, provided the track is available. Still checking.

But if it's closed or booked, I'll try to convince them to try the Saturday session.

I appreciate the offer Roadster, thanks! I've PM-ed you about it.

I definitely hope I can make it. It's also reassuring to go down with more experienced guys so I don't have to learn everything the hard way.

It's great to see new names on the list, welcome! I'm worried that when we get around to checking if the members' list is still accurate, we'll end up with a pretty short list, so all new additions are very valuable. Cool-looking NSR250, by the way.

Anyway i'm up for the wednesday or saturday meet-up...keep us informed yea chris...both chris's

A question; I've been told that there's no way to adjust the preload on our bikes...is there any way around this short of swapping to a race monoshock or rebuilt the forks? I've been scrapping my exhaust chamber way too frequently over some bad humps even without pillion.... :giddy:

I am game for a Wednesday night meet up as well. Where's the usual AOC hang out?

Alternatively, how about meeting at Wheeler's Cafe at Kallang (Stadium)? It's behind McDonalds and is next to a vegetarian restaurant. Parking is free and there are plentiful parking lots. They serve soft drinks and coffee but no food unfotunately.

They do have some food Mark... Cheesy toast sandwhiches, chips and they have an OK banana split. :p

It's near the National Stadium.

1. Go down Stadium Boulevard towards the National Stadium.

2. Turn left into the car park (Car Park H) that brings you to MacDonalds, KFC and other food joints.

3. Go on straight past Macdonalds and make a left and then make a right at the first building you see.

4. Wheelers Cafe is at the corner of that building and faces Jalan Benaan Kapal and the Geylang river.

There's a big "Wheeler Cafe" signboard and a revolving blue light which you can't miss.

See you guys there on Wednesday at 9pm.

Muser, shall I bring the touring pants for you then?

pity Lawrence can't make it. Think I need more 2T now I have the KTM.

Where I stay ah? Wah, I go and search for it. I'll still give Seng Kwang a call later.

hey muser, till now i wouldn't say it's a great improvement... as it still needs tuning..

unlike my previous carb setting.. the response is very good... it's responsive and

the power is there when ya twist ya throttle..

currently, i can feel an increase in the power.. but it just somehow lack the

responsiveness..

Axxis - i thot of getting the cylinder from cheng xi too~ heard ya intend to get a

polini kit rite?? doubt ya'll need the cylinder, rite?? kaka :cheeky:

Tuning is everything, isn't it. And that's the part that is the most time-and-effort-consuming. I'm surprised you could bear to sacrifice your nicely-tuned carb, just when you got it right. I guess the lure of power was just too much to resist, eh? Oh yah, you didn't mention if you're pre-mixing or using the 2T tank?

I'm still not happy with the way my bike's tuned. Was planning to visit Black but no time.

Almost overlooked this question. Our rear shock is adjustable for preload, but as far as I know our front forks aren't. Eh, how fast are you going over those humps Hanif? If you're really having problems then perhaps you can raise your bike a bit.

Just guessing, but how about using heavier fork oil or installing new fork springs that can take a heavier load or both?
