So wat cables need oiling? Can i use it to clean of chain lube that has flung onto my fairings?

sure you can clean it against grease stain.....i used to use WD40 for cleaning...but too ex and fast using,so now down graded to use diesel for cleaning the parts like chain,rim foot peg etc......heeee..budget over it yet diesel is very useful too.....you can try it.

so far i din see it in local....but heard from someone in the forum ever as for mass production...but no news.....it can get stolen easily...what i did is using a tranparent tinted sticker to stick over the headlight....so.....nobody will take it! :thumb:

WD-40 leaves a thin coat of Teflon so dont use it to clean your rims in case the fine mist settles on your disc rotor. Same as putting oil on your disc.

 

Its also a little corrosive and will damage the O-rings in your chain. Use low grade petrol or diesel for cleaning chain and other parts of your bike. It'll leave it stain free after it evaporates.

I saw a full set of clear protective stickers specifically for the RS headlamp, sai tao and side fairings. Dont know if they sell the tinted version.

Hahah.. it was either I push the bike back nearly 1/2 a KM on the back roads... and THEN have it towed back to SG for RM300.

 

 

Or I try to ride it back to the pit and find a temporary fix for the clip ons.

 

 

I chose to ride. And yeah! The sidestand spring broke. I had to ride back 1/2 km to the pit on the backroads with my left foot supporting the side stand up. Back at the pits, I was already getting muscle cramps from holding the stupid thing up with my ankle.

 

Lucky everything is superficial. Should be up and running again in 3 weeks.

well i was actually thinking of those films which u apply on your windows, thinking of sticking it onto my headlamp and cut off the excess...haha. I wonder where those cars get their headlamps tinted.

guys....anyone of you know a girl riding a RS250(new model)with stock design?happen to see her few days ago near Paya Lebar MRT....she wearing full face and gloves....damn cool sai.........very rare seeing girls riding any 250 bikes.....very rare........

Dude....an aprilia should look like an aprilia....changing the whole tail section would ruin the look man

I got this on the strength of Lawrence's (lacrimosae's) recommendation, and his claim of getting an extra 20km on a full tank. I didn't recall him mentioning any performance increase, so I didn't expect any. I was only looking for better fuel economy.

 

I haven't noticed better fuel economy yet, but instead have noticed something else - a very noticeable, undeniable increase in torque throughout the rev range. That's right, from bottom to top.

 

Im very interested in your findings.

Ive seen many gimmicks on the market trying to make a quick buck.

How long does this one tablet last?

but the problem is that..

my gf have prob sitting on it..

so if i were to change it to the k3's tail, she should be able to share with me..
