can't be... i'm pretty sure its the chain... pls try sitting on it.... spin the rear wheel and look at the chain.. there will be a stage where the chain is more tight... get it to stop at the tightest spot and sit on it... if this does not work then it might be the chain roller....

kk ill check hard tomoro i oreadi read the manual to check for dead linkages hope nth is wrong hope its the chain tt is screwed n not my gear or the gear balancer -_-"

balancer will make yr bike vibrate tremanously.... u will know don worry.. haha...

ok, my bike when engage first gear, it keeps moving forward. they say should be some clutch adjusment...so the setting at the level done le, still cannot..they say mus take out side fairing then can adjust. anyway khairul wanted to help me do, but pai sei everytime also he do. so if we meeting up coffee might as well if you ok with it can help me lor. otherwise wait till i get license i bring to shop do everything swee swee.. haha

That is completely spot on!

I have the same experience for 4 cylinders, inline 6s and V6s'.

If you constantly get the a/f ratios right, even copper plugs can last 5000km on bikes and at least 10,000km in cars.

 

Once u start to run rich, the plug starts go a black.

When its very lean, the tip is white.

 

If the ratios are kept in a safe range, plat plugs def will outlast copper ones.

I have done about 220,000km in different makes and models both with copper and plat plugs. The plat ones always last longer. On avg, they last an easy 20,000km.

 

What you said about cleaning and readjusting the plugs do extend its life by abiit is very true.

there ya see the aprilia clutch casing.. on the top left, there's this small component with a cable attached to it and 3 screws screwed to the cover... that's the 2t pump..

ya unscrew the 3 screws.. here how it looks like

there ya see no. 3, ya turn clockwise to shorten the cable in the pump, thereby increasing the intake.. to lessen the 2t intake, ya turn anticlockwise to lengthen the cable in it... i would advice ya to do it gradually.. do it half turn in stages...

anyway, i jus receive a pm from mr. lawry.. questioning the direction of the nut shud be turned..

 

i realised i was wrong..

 

so the correct direction to richen the 2t is:

clockwise - lessen 2t

anticlockwise - richen 2t
