Dats quick considering theres top over hauling involved.

Yr valve jammed after 2 wks of not cleaning?

What happened?

Its been awhile since I clean mine, way before the first time we met, now I start to worry.

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.

anyone having problems with their 2t being too thick? thus causing alot of unburned carbon sticking everywhere.

Hmm... That's strange.

Titanium is already one of the least viscous 2T I've used before. The other I've tried which I recommend for those interested in comparing 2T viscosity is Mobil Racing, in a gold bottle at Mobil stations, selling for $20 per litre.

Maybe 2T flow too high while A/F mix too thin?

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

ben, its becos u are running lean, not enough unburn petro(black liquid, very fluid) to flush out the the carbon.. results in carbon sticking easily to the valve..2t open too big will kill your beloved exhuast very fast:sian: :sian: :sian: remove the end caN and you will understand, if ur end can is hot after some riding may also mean some blockage liao...

chris , 25km/l is very good liao.. dun attempt a 27km/l , u are risking a piston jam, petrol is not only used to propel the piston , its also to COOL down the engine.. running VERY lean for long distance or whacking hard u will be asking for trouble...i believe ur 2t intake is very big so ur petrol/air/2t mixture ratio is very dangerous, too much air/2t not enough petrol to cool, leaner the mixture hotter the engine:giddy: :giddy: :help:

i find tat once fc can hit above 20km/l and above valve get struck more easily and faster.. i wash my vave EVERY week (ard 1000km) it will get silghty struck a bit , need to apply some force ...

yea that's really strange, because i did not tampered with the 2t flow intake nor did i adjust the a/f mix, it seemed i got this problem after i've fitted my arrows on.Is it due to the 2t not burning well at higher temps?

Always be prepared.

Hey guys. How much does a brand new RS125 cost? Are the new ones at Mah, the 2005 model and lastly, do you think they have the one with the Poggiali paintwork?

Thanks in advance.

Learner riders not wearing visors

I WAS driving along the Ubi Driving Centre's test route last week and was shocked to see that motorcycle riders on the public road riding test were not wearing any visors.

As far as I know, riders are told during the lessons to wear proper attire, for example, shoes and not slippers.

Aren't the rider's eyes far more important than say the footwear they are wearing?

On television we see so many advertisements asking riders to be careful on the roads and here we are not taking adequate safeguards.

How do we expect these riders to maintain safety when we do not even emphasise such a basic thing as wearing visors?

I hope the authorities will look into this matter and ensure that our riders are better equipped while taking their riding test.
