No need get 15w50 oil. Too heavy and your bike will feel suffocating. Any 10w40 oil will do.

 

Likewise for spark plugs. Get iridium IUH24 and it can tahan a good 20k.

 

Always remember... the bike is like your baby (gf...). Treat it nice and gentle and it'll repay you with a smooth ride.

liqui moly 10w40 is only semi-syn, full-syn starts from 10w50 which is still very "watery" compared to maxima. motul too Xpensive liow:faint:

2007 model. for 7.5k is a steal..

must see when it registered on the road. if late 07 or 08 is a good buy the bike is only 1yrs plus only.

$7.5 is quite cheap.....but must see mileage, condition etc.... I somehow thinks that 2nd hand from Bike shop will 90% not be in very good condition

40k mileage a bit high! saw one bike shop at cck the one that repair harley bike also selling black euro sw400 too.

must see what type of scratches lor... light stationary drops with 皮外伤 n buang "slam dunks" got lots of difference. if scratches due to wear n tear then no issue, better than those that comes with resprayed paintwork coz u never know the respray is due to accident or not

 

2007 machine... more important is registration date coz if registered in 2008, then

 

at 40k kms, u also need to factor in maintenance such as change tires, bleed brake system, brake fluid, brake pads, belt, variator, clips, rollers, eo, oil filter, air filter, transmission oil, spark plugs, etc. also check if magnetic coil n battery are ok. if all in, easily >$1k.
