Saw Robin's coming to be wife ( BMW GS650 ). Met it on the PIE towards Changi, exited at Lornie Rd, I guess must be processing the transfer this morning. Very new and good condition bike (FBD ).

I think is me coming home from 2nd link. I was with Whyzee & his friend went JB for breakfast. Also to check who's Ah Lin & Fei. Too bad they on duty so we quit. Went crop hair instead. Me not much hair crop So test ride my gs650 at the new highway to Skudai via Nusa Jaya instead.

Hi guy, I just got my SWT400 yesterday, Like to ask you is it normal than after your switch off the switch, if you need to restart again you have to push or roll a few feet than it can start again. Thank you

No such thing. Start stop is like any other bike.

If this happens all the time, so back to bike shop or Boon Siew and let them check.

I went to do full service on Friday for my sw. From Friday night, my bike the transmission side is leaking. I thought it too much. Then today like now I was riding to cck. The bike high ref at 7 to 8k but no power. Can only hit 80km. I stop at the road. The transmission side leaking black oil non stop. Not the red color. I am stuck at cck. Some body know whay is wrong? What shld I do?

From your description it's seems that your crankshaft oil seal is blown and thus the engine oil is leaking from your transmission casing and it's causing your belt to slip hence the high reving. Stop riding and get bikebulance or something and get it tow to a workshop.

 

BTW you mention it's not red oil, FYI the auto scooter do not use automatic transmission fluid (ATF) like as in cars. Scooter's transmission in the casing itself do not have any oil and is of the dry type with belt and rollers. Oil leaking out from the casing and is black is the engine oil that have seeped through some crevices and most probably it's the oil seal that due to heat, wear and tear and most probably some form of additive might have been added to it thus damaging the oil seal and hardening it which causes the leak. Oh BTW for any forumer here as a precaution and a note too due to pass experiences, do not put any form of additive to your engine oil or gear box as it may react with the oil seal and cause premature hardening that might cost leakages and possibly expensive repair bill. Just a note only, cause it's base on my experiences only

If bike cannot ride then must tow to workshop.

Must open up the belt casing to understand the problem.

Could be the shaft or seal behind the variator is worn (highly likely) or that at the clutch housing side (rear).

 

Get the chance to check through everything. Newly bought 2nd hand bike usually must spend some $$ to do a full check (and some replacements?), regardless of what the owner says.

 

Btw, where or who did your full service on Friday?

If mech mistake, should get free repairs/service.

Must have a click sound. Sometimes new bike need more strength.

Friday I went to ac motor at 4pm

Change engine oil and transmission oil

Motul 7100 as advise cause don't have maxima

3 bottle. 81 dollar

Oil filter 16 dollar

Engine oil cap.12 dollar

And ah choong check the 3 in 1 and told me good for another 10k. So he clean it up for me. 35 dollar

Total damage 144.

It is not the transmission seal that is leaking. It is the seal from the engine that link to the variotor. During service and cleaning it was not leaking. it started leaking on friday night when I got home. Cause on Saturday I went to my bike and saw oil on the floor. I thought it is too much oil. The smaller patch of oil happen on Saturday nite. The bigger patch is on Friday night.

The other picture is last night or this morning at 130am when trying to fix the bike so I can ride to camp today. We was hoping it was the transmission seal don't need so much trouble and waste money.

Base on the picture of the leakage from the engine seal, may I know what is your mileage of your machine?
