Got scary news on the way back from Genting too.

 

A rider crashed his super bike just after the Karak Highway tunnel in full view of Mr Fusionjaz, who was merging to the highway from genting.

The rider's arm got ripped off and flew some distance away from where he laid.

 

Raymond picked up the arm and placed it nearer to the rider, just before some of the rider's friend came over to help.

 

Wah. Imagine holding just the arm... faint faint.

This trip so happening:

 

1. Bomb scare made me change plans 3 to 4 times.

2. Two bikes got sea sick and dropped while stationary in the ferry.

3. One Bike challenged a pickup truck through a tight corner, lose and skidded. Rider ok, bike injured.

4. Tire leaking air - got worm kit and tire inflaters also no use.

5. Tsunami warning and everyone evacuated like crazy.

6. Picking up a severed arm.

Ah choong did the steel bradied hose for few of us.. Not sure he still got stock anot? But I am sure he had the measurement liao, can ask him do for u n install for u. Last time one of the SW bro dismantle the whole original brake hose n let him customize n made one. I am the 2nd ppl to take the set of steel braided hose n get it installed. But you need to leave ur bike there, cos the work is not easy...

Bought an original and will be making a copy for myself for dirty hands use. Let me know if you need one. I think S$20 should suffice to cover printing and binding. Postage another S$5 else self collect. Pretty thick book. ETA probably end Apr.

Till now I only know ah chonng from ACM is the only shop that does steel hoses for silverwing. Brand wise I not sure which he carried but u can always call up him to check. Ah Choong - 90220203

Non of the big brands have ready-made ones for SW. Custom-made possible since it's a matter of getting the lengths and banjo adapters right.

 

I correct myself. Actually HEL has the hoses for ABS model. The part numbers are HBF2769 and HBR2769. Is there a difference between ABS and non-ABS in terms of the hoses?

Btw hachi ,regards to the brake fuild. can. I get any of the fuild which states dot4? Or is there any Specific brand that is more recommended?
