I'm so sorry to digress your exchanges. I have a few questions about getting a X9 and guessed this will be the best place I can ask.

 

I'll be getting my 2B soon, am 26 this year, not sure how much wil my insurance be? Was quoted abt 400 plus

 

What's the difference between a X9 Amalfi and Evo besides the engine capacity? In terms of maintenance, which will be more economical?

 

Is it better / cheaper to buy one from the shops or from private sellers through your experiences? How much should I have in cash to afford one if I pay via installments?

If you are about to fork out full cash is better. Is better to get from shop if you need to pay by installment.

I think is better for you get the cheapest X9 in the market and then do up the bike. Like replaced waterpump, Magnet, steering cone and change of belt and roller.

To Kenny Seaw . Today my friend come to your workshop regarding his X9 Amlfi number Fv4__1 grey in colour. Bike was towed to your workshop. On the phone you told him the repair was bet $600-$700. When he came down u change the price to $1200. My friend then decide to scrap the bike. Hearing this u lowered the price of repair to $800.

my question is how can u quickly change the repair price from $600 to $1200 then down to $800? It question the integrity of you and the way u quote repair prices. Hope u can ans my queries.

 

FYI, his bike is Black in colour. On phone was saying est. price. After taking out the whole ebgine, his bike in very bad condition. If everythings repair and change brand new, it will be about $1200 or more. How come it become $800 is because he ask me for help and he is a nice guy, so i told him i will try to replace some parts with used but in good condition.

 

Actually, if you will to drop me such questions, you should also ask your friend how come, as he own self see wat had happen to his bike, cheers

in terms of maintenance, both evo and amalfi are the same. but if u crash the bike, the evo will cost more for repair due the mirror. The main difference is the outlook. the 20cc of engine capacity doesn't really make much difference.

Actually this friend of my had sent his bike to your shop for repair before around early april and the total bill was $400. So wat happen to the initial repair? U also change used good condition parts or new parts hah? coz wlthin 3 weeks the bike broke down again. This when the repair est when up to $600 then to $1200 then down to $800. wahlau I paiseh leh with my friend coz i m the one that recommend to him your workshop.

Look Mr Kenny how many tom, **** and harry come by your shop are good guys? ( pun intended) i will believe almost everyone. I cant imagine if they were all BAd guys coz i dont think u can tahan if that happen.. (try to my get drift) WTH . I juz hope u do a good repair on my friends bike coz he's gonna be $800 dollars 'poorer guy' not only a 'good guy' after that and also I hope your conscience is clear. Coz I believe what goes around comes around....

Maybe you can walk around a few places before deciding which X9 you love.

 

Some price is higher with GOOD condition bike, Some price cheap till lao. but when buy, you are the one laoing. Take more time to choose and not hurry or kena sian by the saleman....

Few things to check....

1. steering cone( got a knob in the centre)

2. Engine mounting( when throttle will shift 1 side)

3. water pump( noise)

4. LCD (check milage and function)

5. Sign of Accident

Wanna check, water pump is the one at the rear right above the exhaust right? Where the coolant leaks?

 

Mine's leaking and I'm wondering what's the cost to replace it? My top left side, above the air filter is leaking some black oil thing too. Wonder what's that and the rough cost too.

i think you got the wrong picture, i am asking you to check with your friend wat had happen to his bike, he should be more clearer than you as i had explain to him in details. No one will want their bike to be in this condition, it quite bad.

 

And dun worry, his bike is well taking care of.

my magnetic coil juz gone on monday...n dat was de worst day of my life...first bike cannot start..dan wana call tow truck cannot coz phone low batt...dan walk back 2 office borrow phone n call tow truck..dan push bike out 2 main gate wait 4 tow truck..dan tow 2 workshop fix..Fix liao $500 gone...Dan wana go home liao reach first trafficlight fuse blown..LL push bike back 2 workshop...change fuse liao go home sleep...$500 ah..4 1 small bloody coil!!! Dan copy down all de numbers on de box of de coil dan go buy 4D...4D never tio but tio summon at carpark...suay...suay til keep chicken also turn into kuku bird ah...Aniway will b going up 2 phuket in july...anione wana tong phang mi buy ani ting?

X9 thread is always so cold.... Even i post gathering who will come? Sms some idiot don`t even reply also. So as well mai host. I hosting / folllow gathering inside 2B bike trip and 1DTO.

 

As for the tire preganant mean the tire steel wire have broke and cos the Air leak to the Rubber(outer layer). Therefore a lump will appear.(look like gals pregnant.) Some lump is small and harmless. But if you kena mine....(3 Big lump and 5 small lump.) Better change a new tire before it fail you.
