very interesting. nvr did long distance on bike b4. but next wk i'm on holiday la. mayb next time...n when i've gathered enuf courage.hehe.

 

Haha..... I almost every week also got a trip up north. Just short short to Kulai/Bt indah. or long trip anywhere north.

My front wheel is rather stuck due to the front brake. HELP!!

What should i do?? Hard to move off and it keeps making noise.

send to bike shop on tow svc.... cos worst case i can think of is:

 

1. brake disc burnt

2. brake caliper gone.

3. tyre burnt also.....

4. whole wheel jam and u fly over.......

 

hence be safe than to save a bit of money....:)

Isnt there an adjusting screw or something so it is loose temporary.

I'm going to shop tml also though.

Common problem of X9. Should be right side jam.....

 

Take out the caliper.... press till both brake pad touches each other....

Take some cloths and WD-40 to clean the piston of the caliper till shine..... Use flat head screw driver to pry open the brake pad all the way till the piston is all the way back.... install back and is done......

 

** remember to wash the brake pad before installing back... as WD-40 is oil base..... Unless you don`t wish to stop in time.... :angel:

Anyone know how much it will cost to rewrap seat cover? mine got tear because of stupid cat use it as scratch post. Any place to recommend doing it? Mine is X9 Amalfi.

too many things to check, is better you can get someone who know to go with you for a look.

 

What i know is that bikeshop offer 300 - 500 max to take back the bike and the condition cannot be too bad. Some owners selling direct about $700 - $1500 depending on condition.

Special price can only obtain from your fav bike shop.

 

But from UM, their tyre is also quite cheap compare with some other Scooter shop. Do drop by their thread to find out the price.

is it perfectly ok to feed our bikes wif ron95? cos i remember reading somehwere someone said can only take 98.

 

Min. Ron 95. Ron 92 will be lots of knocking here and there. not good for engine.....

 

Feed her with Vpower and she will show you no power.... :angel:

From my exp.... SPC 95 give me the best mileage....

Follow by caltex gold(98)

vpower no power? i tink i suffered fgrom that also. tot wanna pamper my bike once a mth wif vpower, skali mileage down a bit. then chaged back to 98. next i tink i'll jus put in 95. jb no spc...so cant try. hehehe.

My knowledge is dated 1year back.......

I have never pump singapore petrol for more then a year le for my bike

Only Car i pump singapore petrol.....

 

Malaysia 95 a little suck le....... my 1 full tank can only reach 360 upon reaching reserve....

360km gd already leh. mine max 310 when the light appear. n then max another 40km till empty. means max only 350.

 

msia 95 suck ar?...den i guess i jus stick to 98 la.
