Hi bro, what was the cost of damage to fix? I also cannot tahan... haha..

A brand new digidash cost around $380++, as for the rest of the individual parts at fault it depends what is broken; blown fuze within, circuit board etc etc. But expect to pay over a hundred at least. Have a ' cut off' price, if fixing is too $$ then might as well change the whole bugger.

Hi all x9 riders.. Recently I've got my ride .. I find that my FC is quite bad . 9.5L of petrol can only last 200km.

Anyone had this experience before?

Well guess we are in the same boat. my x9 200 gives around 20km/litre..i am planning to service my carbs and change old or worn parts.. that should help. i already changed oil, filter, belt, bushings. non helped. actually wanted to replace clutch assy but it cost ard 200++. so give it a miss. older bikes tend to drink more due to wear n tear of parts..

My X9 can get 23-24km/l. while i have not done any engine services before, she runs so nice. almost sold it away but getting more and more in love.

i may have an X9 500 for sale.. 1K neg

wah x9 for 1k??? serious??? any probs?? pm me please???

no serious problem with the bike..coz i paid for most of the problem.... hahaha trade in bike shop only take $200... kanasai.. this is a not so urgent sale as this bike i still use it for transport.. abit pity to sell off but again i may want to keep it!!

Outlook is just so so not that spectacular..but compare to any other X9 500 owners..i think mine is slightly more presentable than them!

nice to ride a 500 cc x9..when ppl tot this is the 180 or 200cc

23-24km not bad though. I heard my fren riding a korean chopper (I think daelim) saying he gets 40+km/litre!!!..my jaw dropped but refrained from arguing about it.. But on the 2nd tot i think it is norm for auto scoots to get between 20-25km/litre.

Hi guys, ive been looking for a decent X9 and ive found this..

->http://www.singaporebikes.com/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=all&stype=1&si=CHEAP

Its stated there that its being sold for 1.2k but when i contact the seller, he told me its for the best offer and i also found out that the COE is ending this December.. So how much is the bike actually worth..? Appreciate all ur inputs..

Just my 2 cents worth, I wouldn't renew the COE of an X9 or buy one that is close to 10 years. As it is, the wear & tear maintenance can already be quite substantial.

Then i guess we'll have to trial and error for the fuel consuming parts to be replaced.. Btw, the worst part is that I'm riding a 180 not 200..

Hi guys. Like to know anyone riding x9 200 if they encountered engine die while riding for about say 20mins . It is like when u riding, u purposely switch the key to off and than turn on immediately. It happened to me for a period of 3mins. the bike reset itself for about 5 times i think. After that no problems encoutered. even riding back home for 1/2hour no problems encountered. Very strange..

It happened to me and the frequency of "engine die & restart" increases over time. It's quite dangerous when traveling fast as the sudden torque caused a jerk that can throw one off balance. I think mine is fixed by changing the rectifier. My rectifier was burnt (burnt smell & smoke came out) recently and since it was changed, the problem did not recur. Hope this helped.

Dear X9ers.Anyone thinking of scraping their X9 180/200 and willing to trade their seat assy with me?. My seat is kind of very flat and not comfortable to seat. If anyone out there have an acceptable condition seat and thinking of scraping the bike, pls do give me a call (90906509). I will come over to your place to do the swap. Thank You.

u can go 2 bendemeer de 219 or 291 shop or queenstown juzz wheels 2 change de foam under ur seat...coz foam over time will loose it 'spongyness'..,if wana rewarp choose a piece without stitching under ur butt area coz rain water will seam out even after u thought is dry liao...

Thanks a bunch guys, i'm looking for a pair of very strong shocks for my x9, coz the old shocks like abit chialat man, even set at maximum at taihin when i go hump i can still feel it hitting the end, 8 year old bike i think the ex owner hasn't changed it b4. Any aftermarket shocks that you guys would recommend thats pretty solid and durable? Or is it true taihin told me, use original is the best. Original quite pricey LOL but if it is the best then i don't mind.

have you tried YSS? so far good comments we have

You fuel tank have 14.5L, which mean you still have about 5L to go, you should be getting about 300km++ which i think is ok le
