Fyi, Piaggio agent for spare parts is the Vespa shop along Jalan Besar before reaching Regina.

 

My former bike shop installed a Gilera Runner carb for my Evo and from 350km, I am getting 240km and lotsa poppong sound aka backfire. Also I lost lotsa power. Uncle quoted me $270 for original Evo 200 carb.

 

Going to change soon. I wish I can get the 250cc..

Maybe you should try to re-tune your carb again.. Maybe the wrong jetting and setting.

 

I did my jetting and tunning @ wonderful after i install my leos. reduce to min/no back- firing.

Depend on your weight.

For my weight 65kgs, I pump 30 front, 34 rear on mich gold standard or city grip.

I have had 4 x9. 2 have such problems. i suspect one of the reasons: because of the backrest, water can seep in. the other reason: quality of the box is different from givi and hepco. just my guess

Sold off the scoots or gave to brother. current one. still got it because that x9 fits me nicely.its a 500cc. i hope one day can fit in a givi box instead. meanwhile just ignore the rain. not so much but i dont put helmet or paper inside. just items like raincoat or bike cover. if you notice many x9 at the backrest, it is bend because of passenger rest on it. and thus the box cave inwards.

The water in the box is able to fill a can of coke... Haha

Hi ,

I like to know if your X8 or X9 COE is ending soon what will you do as in

1. Renew COE and do up your bike? ( mob bike )

2. Get another bike eg. like other brand scooter Kymco / SYM / Dalim

which one will be better?

Hi all, I have a quick question.. How many different model of the X9 250 Evo are there..? I've seen some with black longer exhaust and another with Gilera Runner type of exhaust.. And is it true that the 250 is actually using a Honda engine..? Thanks for all ur answers..!
