Hey bro, i just encountered this guy who has a low-profile bikeshop along Lavender street.

The shop name is Han Motorcycle, he so-called restored my x9 digital LCD screen by replacing the top LCD.

It worked good for me so far. The thing is i forgot how much he charged me, cus that time i paid together with the full servicing.

 

I think Han, the boss and Ah Wee the mech should still remember me, you could drop by and check it out...maybe just tell him you are a friend of mine (Ah John, thats what they call me hehe)

I need help regarding can't start my bike after riding for 20min the temperature goes up to the max n there was smoke came from the engine,switch off the engine n let it cool down.

Check the radiator there was no water, top up 1.5liter of water and saw puddle of coolant water under my scooter..now can't start the bike at all..please advise..

Send in to shop. Tow it if you have to. Hope you didn't bust your pistons. If its a water pump and hose issue, then just replace.

 

If your bike is beyond commercial repair, and if you have a good working LCD meter, sell me. Thanks.

Thanks John for the tip. Sadly my LCD is okay but the underneath is not. Finally replaced the whole unit from him.

 

He passed me a replacement unit just now for awhile and that one also not in good condition. This unit whenever I signal, the hazard light came on. Haizzz....

 

Realized the pcb board underneath also controls the signal switch. Wonder who was the brilliant chap who designed it.

While X9 forum is almost quiet, but the info given before are still relevant. if you flip through you will see many repair shop who many x9 riders visit and like. its up to you to decide who you like. steering cone problem is prevalent with x9 and if you read many comment you may come to aconclusion which shop to go.

Recently my X9 is not looking very good.

 

Just wanna know if its time is going to be up.

 

Currently the problem is, it is leaking this beige colour oil from the back of the engine side.

 

I heard from the Mechanic that its deadly and soon the bike will die. Just wanna verify if its true.

Get it done soon. If beige colour mean the coolant have mix with engine oil.

This normally happen when the seal at the top of head have corroded and need to replace.

Some shop just welded the hole or replaced with a brass cover.

Do it fast before the engine seize.

For X9?

 

My one and only choice would be Botak. $280 should suffice. Standard items will be replaced plus he'll service the clutch swee swee. Alot of TLC de...
