recently I had a hard time in starting my engine, sometime I press the ignition switch not a cranking sound appear, I need to press 2 or 3 times then it started to crank. mechanic say need to change the switch. who had changed the switch before and how much roughly it cost? mechanic say it is ard $160 I found it too steep for the ignition switch only.

 

Which shop's mechanic?

anyway, i miss wildcard.

The problem is the relay. Wear and tear. Switches wun give problem that much lei. Coz it's juz 'solid'. The wiring relay is the problem. In my own opinion lah.

 

ah chong found out the main root already. It is the starter relay spoilt that unable to crank at all. damage cost $90. well done ah chong .

Where is the Ah Chong shop? Can share the exact address?

Also, Anric79, your photo shows that your tmax headlight are both lighted up. How to do that? Mine only 1 side lighted up, not nice.

Hi all. Have any of you purchased Hepco Becker rack from online shops before? Care to share from which site?

 

Heard from some shop that HnB no longer producing racks for tmax, true? What I can get now is only givi rack, the one which has two securing points under the grab rails and another 3 through the panel behind our seat, which requires drilling through the panel.

 

Urgently need a box for my max now, haven't manage to get any ready stock rack ever since I got the bike a month ago.

 

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

sorry for late reply , that is my pole light , pole light is 24 hour both side lighted when key turn on. it is not the front normal headlight, my headlight also lighted one side only unless you switch on to high beam , only then both lighted out.

Just had my belt changed at 16k Miles... Damn I think the belt can go much longer then it.. No signs of any wear & tear...

I also lost track when the previous owner changed the belt..... Wanna change but then again.....

What happen if I lost my master key (red colour) , will it affected me selling to motor shop? will motorshop take? If I need to duplicate my key but without the red key, can I still duplicate?

sold my tmax after 3 years of use...its a good bike wit decent power n handling

good brakes n fc as well...scrapped mainstand before during cornering...

this bike has immobilised system...

whenever u wanna dupicate a key they need the master key to sync the code with the new key...

without the masterkey pray very hard u don lose the rest of the keys cos even if u duplicate it u wont be able to start the bike also... something like honda hiss system..

 

correct me if im wrong..
