normally i think ard 5k change oil right?? but anyway the price 8k okie or not..mine nothing, just fully stock..hehehehehehe

if bought from shop i would bargain down to 7k but 8k not that far off. If private seller i will pay about 6k. Normally i prefer bikes with lower mileages, so 70k to me is more but for some should be ok.

Anyway, i might sell my burgman 400, mileage is incredible 16k only - true mileage. $5.8k neg. Will throw in back rest.

Engine reliability wise I believe most jap bikes have got no problem. I've been riding my burgman for over 5 years and its still going strong, just need to do regular maintenance. Maintenance is generally the same for all scooters. Just change according to manufacturers specifications sure no problems.

Speed is all about the same unless you are talking about going more than 120km/h on a regular basis.

Height wise, the burgman is the lowest seating one. I'm 1.65 and can have both my feet touch the ground with no problems. In fact, I like it very much.

Hi guys, its time to change scooter. How much is a brand new Burgman 650 currently? Have only own 1 Suzuki and its in my opinion that their re-sale value is not very attractive. Nevertheless, loves the design and curve of the Burger. Which shop besides Guan Hoe gives the best offer? Thanks.

Hi FJRider, Take it from me who has riden many bikes and scooter too. One of the biggest scoot until the new 800cc BM or Kymco. The 650 Burg is a very stable, good , nice etc etc etc scoot. If you whack the scoot on NSH at 180km/h or so all the way to Thailand of course the scoot will have probs but otherwise if it is taken care of with oil and love, it will serve u well . join the burgmanusa or burgmanrider forum and you wil see many forumers from various countries. You also see the scoots pros and cons and then decide to buy, second hand. No new here, maybe can ask GH.

16.8k OTR including insurance (excluding interest). is it expansive? i felt under value. But my wife like the bike coz the bulky underseat space can put a lot of stuffs. I'm the driver only.

wow.. i bought 2nd hand cos 1st hand is way too x la.. as long u can afford of cos pay for a brand new one la..

i can put a luggage in the underseat!! those small one used by air-stewardess type.. im impressed by the space too.. lol

burgie is good! by far the best i have rode.. by then again.. car is always better than bike la. top speed i never try la.. usually i ride 80 -100km/hr nia.. but did try up to 140 before and the handle still very stable.. FC wise easily hit 28-32 km /L.. mine normally is 28km/ L as my journey is those short short type..

Hi IXIO, If you are into touring with the wonderful Burg and dont really mind other bikes or scoot, at SBK there are many forum which you can visit and ask if can join. There is also a forum on outing. SBK has also durian outing.

Oh, hope you not so heavy. Burg 400s are known to drag the bottom at those speed bumps. So becareful especially if at JB checkpoints.
