Hi scooter Lao Jiao,

I am looking for a scooter that is economic and low maintenance with huge storage compartments.

Was recommended to get a x9 by a shop. After reading the forums about x9 I drop the idea due to the maintenance cost. I am also found of gilera runner. But seem like Italy parts are too ex to maintain.

May I know the list of scooter in the market and what scooter would you guys recommend?

Please advice…

Thank you so much

The mud guard was sprayed with the fork and wheel intact :cheeky:. Meaning not attached to the body but already taken out from the steering cone. For the part below the floorboard, you would need to remove the front fork first by opening the part at the steering cone  You have to slowly open lah. Before you know it, it will all be striped

Well.. u have to take out the front panel and the headlight set. Then you'll have to remove the handle bars and finally loosen the steering coloum. Its quite difficult actually  But if you got loads of free time, you'll manage to do it. Oh yah, to remove the grey panel part at the key hole there is still a puzzle to me. I also dunno how to take that out :giddy:

economic and low maintainence is subjective.

are you willing to spend 200 bucks every 12,000km to do a full servicing?

if yes.... then you should ride a scooter...

if not, just follow what the rest say... buy a wave.

cfm cheap and nasty

Ever considered PGO GMAX 150/200 ?

Price wise similiar to Gilera runner, but parts are cheaper due to being Taiwanese bike. I would say more suited for our climate. Fuel consumption wise is abt 27-30km per litre. Any enquires feel free to post in the PGO Gmax thread under the SingaporeBikes Scooters section.

Cheers~!
