aiyo bro milk... I'm referring to

 

"if you get X-1R with kick-start only the bike will come with spoke rim.

Electric start with kick-start option comes with sport rim."

 

Why? Cause I bought this first hand X-1R only kick-start and comes with spoke rim. Then I saw my neighbor X-1R, hers E-start with kick-start option comes sports rim brand new too.

 

Perhaps I'm wrong so you guys can correct me.

someone selling the bike in garage sales and it comes with yoshimura pipe. he was saying that it is already legal for x1-r, even passed inspection. not sure how true though.

Hi guys, thanks for the all the help...

 

Went down yesterday to check out the x1r... saw the Honda CS1 and instead decided to go for that coz I think it looks a little crazier than the x1r. Comes with sport rims and electric starter, and got glove compartment in front. Haven't seen anyone riding that before.

Don't know the fuel consumption haha, but since it's a kup kia, should be more fuel efficient than my RXZ. The digital speedometer is also a nice touch.

 

Have to wait a week plus to get the bike, cos I want to retain my old number plate.

oh, i saw this bike at HKL. ah bee aka benny was telling me it's a new bike from india. comes with rear disc brake. made to look similar to the x1-r. didnt knew what model it was until u mention it here.

i downpay'ed for my 1st hand X1R already.

Chose the one with stock sport rims + kick-start.

should be getting it on thursday or friday.

 

Can't wait to try out a kupkia after riding 2 sportbikes for 3 years.

 

Hope you guys can answer my multiple questions..

1)Any tips for running-in the engine? (eg. Type of EO for xx mileage? Change EO when xx mileage?)

2)Really interested in the Yoshi pipes, but I prefer St. Legal-ness. Anyone got updates on the legal-ness with Yoshi pipes and X1R?

3)What bulb socket for X1R? (eg H4? H7?)

4)Any common problems with X1Rs? (eg Heat and Cooling, electrics?)

5)What is the stock tyre size for X1R, and what's the pros and cons of using the stock size?

6)What is the stock sprocket size (F/R), and what's the optimum size you guys are using?

7)Besides installing PA2 and changing exhaust system, what other aftermarket products can be used to mod the X1R to be more powerful? (excluding all the modifying engine and stuff)

 

Sorry in the case that I'm really asking to be spoonfed with information.

I'll still do some more reading in this thread to find out more information.

offically welcome to x1r family! ;D

 

run in try not to drag too much. easiest way to noe whether u drag or not is make sure ur gear 1 goes to 20 and gear 2 to 40 gear 3 to 60 and gear 4 to 80 maximum speed. dun go above tat. use semi-syn EO first for 1st EO change at 500km, 2nd EO use full-syn EO and change at 1000km, 3rd at 2000km wif full-syn EO and after 2000km u can try ur top speed already. from 2nd to 3rd EO change try to go to 100/110 once in awhile like 2days once for better performance of ur bike in future.

 

regarding the yoshi pipe legal or not, u can check wif LTA or check wif the bike shop tat brings in yoshi pipe.

 

bulb socket? u mean for headlight or signal light or tail light or pole light?

 

common prob is u go at high speed ur bike tempt to shake beri jialat but its normal becoz our bike is not meant for high speed riding and doesnt cut wind well like sportbikes.

 

stock tyre is 60/100 front n 70/90 rear? cant remember but i noe its super slim. ;D haha! u can go super fast and u can drift on water. stopping wise, take longer distance then battlax/dunlop.

 

u wanna go fast or u wan fast pickup for ur x1r? u giv an answer someone will sure tell u wad sprocket size to use.

 

if u wan fast n better pick up, u can change carb, air-box, throttle cable, clutch cable, cone, cant remember still got wad. this is those i can think of currently.
