Thanks a lot bros! I have done research so I guess I'll be getting the X1R package from HLC cycle (the one with the mods). I rather have some power than no power to get out of sticky situations. Life more important than saving fuel. Somemore my insurance is $900

 

And of course the sporty outlook

 

Anyway bros, when getting a new bike, what are some important things i need to take note of? I have no idea since this is my 1st time and all of my friends are busy tomorrow

 

change E.O, oil filter regularly, and i cannot stress this often.. REGULARLY. i change every 2 weeks without fail coz i travel a lot on the road. dont change regularly, the inside will wear out quickly and then you'll need to overhaul like me. HAHAHAHA. other than that, just the usual i guess. easy to maintain la the bike. no problem one

If go by mileage, how many kilometres before change engine oil? Change myself or go to shop and change?

every 1000 km change would be okay. coz i always whack my bike mah. 2 weeks go jb change. go shop better coz u need to change oil filter as well

okay smth scared the hell outta me just now,

 

i rode frm wlds to sengkang at ard 120-130km/h all the way, after i stop, i noticed my pipe come out smoke,

and alot.. like smoking but the smoke is thick, any idea y? but after awhile no more, then like normal..

 

anyone experienced before? love to hear your views ppl.. (:

do take note that installing HID on x1-r will greatly use ur battery. i did install 1 on my x1-r, voltage can drop from 14v to 12v while on the move. while stationary, voltage can drop from 12v to 9v or 10v. if still interested to install, pls make an off/on switch and i suggest u only turn it on while on the move

wohoo. gonna collect my bike on 14th aug. bought it at 2nd hand FBC at 3.8k. my insurance costs $579 AXA third party. bike condition outlook and engine quite good. just now deposit $100 then when collecting bike pay remaining downpayment of 1.1k.. but issit a new policy to have gurrantors when hire purchase?

if yours stock u go at 120 - 130 the engine confirm very stress rite.

It's not a new policy.. been like that for ages. In fact, some with big loans, will require 2 guarantors..

i think fully sync. use petronas EO. recommended. hahaha.. if you service in JB LA. but sometimes i change EO in spore, use AGIP. smooth

btw, once u change to HID, there will only be a single bulb. once it's turn off, there will be no light. if i nvr rmb wrongly, our bike using H6. i did it for ard 100+ last year.

can.. just have to attach the bracket that comes with the side stand frm the stock footrest, i did tat, if dont have ard 60RM for chrome sidestand..

 

If dun have the stock one how?! Msia selling chrome one with bracket?! So if buy msia one dun have to have stock one inorder to fix?! Please helps!!!

1 side normal bulb, the other side will be HID.

 

according to mech, HID must not always be turn on like normal bulb. dun straight away switch off when u just turn it on as it will spoil the ballast faster.
