Mine is the Pump it urself and single tip to chain "Model"

U might want to put a reference to Mr Koh's thread so that people can see for more info?

Also wat other choice they have to Mr Koh's selection.

Cos the DIY kit sounds like the old model. People may prefer the new model where they dun do anything at all.

Hi fisherprice.. the DIY date for the heat wrap will be on the 24th July Sun Morning.. however, if I have 5 names for the ezzyoiler (so far inc urself is 3), we can also do it on the 24th July.

 

Mr Koh will be around to guide us but please note he is not suppose to get his hands dirty. The kit is supplied with the single tip. Im not sure about the upgrade. What sort of upgrade are you referring to? Can you pm me your number so that I can keep you in the loop with regards to these upgrades.

 

Please help me to spread the words ard. I just need 2 more names to confirmed the Ezzyoiler purchase.

Anyway earlier models already have the rear disc brake 2010 model comes with both electric start and kick start.

U should negotiate with the shop for the sports rim. I got mine free before I paid downpayment of course...

The DIY Kit is the old gen manual pump version. Single tip because it is the easiest to set up. However, you can upgrade to the dual tip or the deluxe version. I personally hv not tried it yet and therefore would like to experiment with the single tip. And honestly, $20 is a good bargain for a cheaper and better chain maintenance. The oil used is actually a 2t bought from LAB for $3/L.. as compared to the spray can which cost $6 that lasted less than a month..

 

I have personally encounter myself a situation of poor chain maintenance to a point where the chain broke off while I was on the road. Lesson learnt the hard way. If you're interested, pm me to get this great offer.

Hahaha... I more cheap skate. I dun even buy 2t.

I just use the left over 200ml from 800ml EO change.

Cos X1-R only require 800ml. I accumulate the balance for 5th oil change.

When oiler requires I just use the balance.

I do not use the dirty oil though cos the dirt may clot the oiling pipes in the long run.

 

Yes a poorly maintained chain is a no no... Eat power and waste petrol. Less chain and sprockets change. Saves my pocket.

My stock chain currently 6800km and still running good.

lol noted!.. im quite new to bikes so may sounds abit dumb ah.. just got my x1r few days back. i notice that on the left handle bar, just slightly right to the lights, there 1 thing that can be push up or down rite? is that the choke? and issit suppose to be up or down?

yup thats the choke. suppose to be up, to use it pull it down.. =)
