To you there's no difference. To certain riders who ride at 140km/h and above, who bank in corners with hard braking, who trail long bends at high speeds, it actually does. :o

Get a proper sportsbike/motard luh!

 o_O

U dun seem to notice my emoticon....?

I also did mention that it's a fine idea for an outing.

Anyway my point of... unnecessary to meet to "further talk" this issue

BCOS

1. it's settled already...

2. How will u feel if/when everybody is talking about the issue when it seems if ur the one who had caused everything...

All that bullocks straight in ur face... How will u feel?

All u need is a few persons with their BIG mouth to makes matters worse... When the situation is resolve already.

I hope u see my point....

If u were to look back at the posts... Matter settled.

But u brought it up and want to meet to talk.

My last post about this. Not gonna launch a debate with u.

I will only reply to posts about X1-r in this thread... Dun want to mess up the thread.

Even on "proper sportsbike/motard", their forks are adjustable, even the damping on it and it does make a difference. :shades:

Maybe cos I down only slightly.. haha.. then again I dont go 140+km/h ;)

You need to really "feel" & understand your bike in order to know how much significance/change is gained. Every rider has their own feel. :o

The misconception is that people still think that going low and scrapping whatever on their bikes means that they are going fast. But the truth is that low cornering does not mean fast and fast cornering does not mean its low. Take a look at the riders in a race. The person with the fastest lap time travels more with the bike upright than it is at a very low angle.

I also disagree, when u are at a high speed and going into a corner... U need the lean angle to counter act to the speed ur going... Those upright bike going into corners cant enter it fast... Unless ur talking about riding posture, the only upright and diff riding posture i like is the late Abe... Hehhe

You misunderstood me. You take it that what I mean by upright is 90 degrees perpendicular to the surface. Lean angle is important to get that 'slingshot' out of the bend and WFO at the right part of the bend will enable that however it is not necessary to go so low. Edited by duo
