To you there's no difference. To certain riders who ride at 140km/h and above, who bank in corners with hard braking, who trail long bends at high speeds, it actually does.

Even on "proper sportsbike/motard", their forks are adjustable, even the damping on it and it does make a difference.

You need to really "feel" & understand your bike in order to know how much significance/change is gained. Every rider has their own feel.

The misconception is that people still think that going low and scrapping whatever on their bikes means that they are going fast. But the truth is that low cornering does not mean fast and fast cornering does not mean its low. Take a look at the riders in a race. The person with the fastest lap time travels more with the bike upright than it is at a very low angle.
