then wats the so called best recommended after market carb if we wanna go 'abit' faster..

i noe la to go fast y not get a bigger bike.but it cost cheaper to get a carb then a new bike!

I wanna check, i got my spark with heavilly modded.. sp carb, racing block/piston,no airbox etc. Will all these stuffs will give me problems in future? Easy spoil anot

whoa... modded aye.... heard u need to frequently service... u know right this racing set-up dont really last so u really need to monitor....

Since it is heavily modded then maintenance also modded (mod the wallet)!

 

I wonder how frequent you need to go petrol kiosk.

Thanks for the warm welcome bros, when i bought it was already equipped with all these things, i also shocked when i found out....And yes the fuel consumption is really horrible!! I think im going back to my mechanic and ask him to change everything inside into stock ones. . .

Mornin' guys... ride safe.... yesterday i've experienced tankslapping on my spark while was trying to achieve my top speed...faster2 close throttle n brake..hehe... scary...

Its what you would do to a set of nice gluteus maximus except that this time its the tank you're slappin!

 

Jokes aside. From what I know it only happens with bikes with tanks in between the handlebar area and the seat (usually sportsbikes). Its when your bars suddenly have 'a mind of its own' and decide to turn and hit the tank thus the term tankslap. As for this bike I'm very curious as to how it could hit the tank seeing that its under the seat. Anyone?

tankslapping eh, juz try riding when u try let go both your hand frm the handlebars... esp on those pizza hut waves... but both my hands was firmly on the grips... big bikes most prob will encounter these tankslapping at high speeds. dats when a steering damper comes in..

 

maybe i shld call this basketslapping coz its the nearest to my handlebars and spark got no tank at the front...hehe..
