K&N no need change. it lasts 900,000km. you can use it even after you have grandchildren. haha.

i'm using it too. every 3-6 months just blow the dirt out.

anyone has a rough pricing estimation on the following items i plan to change in JB:

1. oversized disc brake, racing boy or pop domino round ones

2. racing footrest

3. rear disc brake assembly, including the rims, tyres, brake pump, caliper etc.

regarding the racing footrest, which is a better option? 2 in 1 type or just the rider type and do welding of pillion footrest using 125z bracket?

which shop should i go to? the normal ah boy in ahgua lane?

4 stroke bikes vibrates more than a 2 stroke bike.. its normal, unless your vibration is like making your handlebar wobble, now that ain't normal.. when you reach the 1000km mark, changing engine oil is enough, the 2nd time you change the engine oil, change the oil filter too..

1. RM 145

2. RM 300

3. RM 400 (with rims, no brand caliper)

* note that this is a rough estimation

to answer your question regarding which racing footrest, go for the Yamaha one's, complete with the pillion footrest too.. as for the rear disc brake assembly, if the mech asks to change your hub, do not do it, i was fooled and changed mine but in the end cause probs.. our stock/original hub fits just right (at least for the Racing Boy 8 legged rim)..

Aiyah just get one set cylinder head wif cam and block ah. Den keep the standard one. So if anything happen can just change back. Coz if u use ur standard head den change spring and valves, if something happen the standard head will cost u a bomb.

FZ150 engine mostly same except the 57mm block ah... go for stiffer aftermarket valve springs...for cam, stock ones still can use but u wun feel much diff...

Price eh, can't remember...shld be less than a few hundreds only... u might wanna order from this indonesian fella or bro ermarkie sbf...both selling genuine parts...

racing boy 360mm oversize disc i bought it at 130rm a few weeks ago at jb AGL... anything more please bargain hor... dun carrot...

Well if u can DIY, malaysia selling the ORIGINAL fz150 block and piston, they also sell complete cylinder heads. Trust me, i see the thing in person before, it's the real thing. At a fraction of what's sold in sg. Installation wise u can either ask them to install or u can come back sg to ur trusty mech to fix. U can use the standard carb, just up mainjet to 120 or 125 and pilot to 25.

I dun tink there will be much diff in petrol consumption since bike is stock... ur bike will just run a bit leaner dats all...

those who complain petrol consumption drastically increase muz be throttle happy or bike muz go overhaul... keke..

btw how to check the rider season one ah? the face got sunglass tan lines? or the arms half sun burn?hehe.. jkjk...

if its 1st hand, check the manual.. they have the maintenance period table which tells you what to do..

WTF. That is ultimate sarcasm arh. :dot:
