yesterday was stopped at a roadblock at jurong town hall road. freaking weird place to have a roadblock man. they ask for insurance , ic and license card. i never bring insurance but I owner, so ic and license will do right. and usually what they do in roadblock uh, that police macam take my particular then go already. i also blur siol.

 

and ask you guys, oversize disc brake, rear disc brake racing footrest , chain guard all these all illegal ah. if kena tahan by tp how ah.

Oversize disc saves lives... doubt its illegal...

 

Racing footrest... is illegal but they wont book you until u get dragged back to base....

 

Chainguard and front sprocket cover.... its illegal not to have it... hehehe...

 

Get stop by TP normally because of you riding recklessly, super duper loud pipes and so forth....

 

If because of racing footrest, so many people using it.... what are the chances you get caught for that...

 

But if they stop you for pipe, den you got the cert for it..... then they will fine you for this tiny tiny details like no chain guard lah, no. plate la, coloured bulbs la.... haiz never ending.....

 

So don't worry yourself too much... Stay stock is the best....

Just tell TP if really illegal how come can pass during inspection? Most to most they give you verbal warning.

hey guys, need some recommendation from the pro sparkers here. i currently had a sp carb fix into my spark.can i know what brand of air filter(or some may call it power filter) is good enough to be fixed on the carb?where to get it n how much it cost?and lastly, can recommend me a place to fix racing clutch spring?how much is it? thanks in advance

Use whatever air filter the guys riding SPs are using. Once again feel free to drop by Hakim shop. I think just need to use 2 racing springs. Unless you want to get a good hand workout everytime you ride your bike.

Maybe u can fix bmc open pod filter like what i did. Actually wanted to use K & N but found out that there is no suitable open pod for SP carb in spark. Anyway both is washable so its ok. Damage is around $90.

thanks for the quick reply. anyway, the previous sp carb owner did not used air filter. i'm looking for a price range of below $80. ada tak any air filter around that price range? anyway, i found out that hakim shop is the exact shop that i used to go for the last 3years.but b4 hakim start working there.haha. the boss also know me but ketuk me sometime.haha..but since hakim now working there,might be going there for some modification since i know hakim is good at doing spark:cheeky: anyway,any idea if hakim shop does bring in racing spring?

If u can go jb look for "faito" racing springs. That brand not bad.

Dun have ah bro, my workshop only do simple repairs. They guys also bring their own stuff den come to fix only. So if u buy the stuff somewhere else and because u buy it there the workmanship cheaper, no need to come to my shop la. If the workmanship expensive den come

I did use before the normal open pod filter('Power Filter') for sp carb and it cost I think around $20+. I bought it from wing Yap but this one normal one cannot be wash unlike bmc. As for whether it can be use on stock think have to ask ur mechanic loh cos sp carb bigger size than stock.

bro if u dont intend to use long, den might as well dont use any filter.... save the money better...

 

i not using any filter also leh... ride super heavy rain also water never enter...

Tapi the guy that sells 10K its like too mush sia bro. i mean u fully mod the bike & u'll noe that the engine will not last any longer . sooner or later confirm need to overhaul & stuff .. buying 2nd hand bike . 90% fully stock is much better than mod sometimes.
