i still wana use my rear disc brake. is there any way that the stock spark rims can be fitted with a rear disc brake? i juz wanna try sumthin different.

My friend got into the same situation just last week. Merc taxi think he can pickup so fast just make a right turn thinking that we will give way.

Guys, when riding.... Just pay extra attention to taxi drivers... They are out to catch a fare, sometimes that is all they see... Sometimes they don't even see my bright yellow car when they see someone flagging them down...

Hope you have a witness who saw the whole incident... Becoz if it's a side to side collision you only have 50% chance of winning it... It will be your words against the taxi drivers... All the best and a speedy recovery...

i provided everything including mechanic's technical report but still fail. cos i dun have a witness... in the end, MP help me settle the case...

What to do? We live in Singapore. The moment we passed our driving licence and ride on the roads we are already at the mercy of these drivers. The message they want to send across is if we ride then get ready to be mowed down. That is why we need to have vulnerable user law to be passed here to protect us from these incoherent drivers.

 

Just now I just saw a driver beat a red left turn arrow at a junction. He was from stationery and since there were not any vehicle he just dashed out to make that left turn while the rest of the vehicles waited patiently. I was glad I was quite a distance from the driver. He could've just mowed me down. Best of all was his whole family were in the car. What a good example to his own kids.

 

Its high time to get a camera to record all these. I see cars crossing double white lines just about everyday and travel on shoulders and making abrupt lane changes on chevron markings. Where are the Traffic Police personnel when you need them?

ambulance arrive. when they arrive i was immediately sent to the hospital i didnt have the time to get any contacts. its actually a head to side collision, my head to the cab side. he was trying to do a right turn without signal.

and i was just goin striaght at 70kmph. the road where he wanted to turn out from got stop sign somemore. minor road -.-

 

my lawyer told me i got a good high chance of winning cause everything was in my favour, i believe my bike collision position tells it all

its stuck at the side front part of the cab, withou signalling or stopping to check he just came out of no where.

just made a report and gonna see the IO tml.
