True, true! I was thinking of replacing the disc brake with the big oversized ones. Maybe changing the front brake master pump from racing boy too. The dilemma is, should I go for the brakes first or the big bore kits first?

 

One more thing. My perception about oversize disc brake is that it improves braking distance. So is it correct?

If you upgrade your displacement without the brakes first, basically, you gotta re-adapt your riding style. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to save a bit more and get both as some here would say that stopping power is crucial.

 

For brakes, a 300mm rotor would do good, rather than a change of the pump, just get a better brake hose and re-bleed it with DOT 4 or 5.1 fluid and better brake pads too.

RK-M is Malaysian made, get the RK, that's Japanese, i think. Can try Motoworld.

If on a budget.... Do brakes first.... Kinda useless if bike so fast, but then can't stop....

Try these mods for brakes... 1) good steel braided hose 2) good aftermarket pads

3) oversize disc is an option... 4) if the first 3 don't work for you... Get an aftermarket master pump and caliper... Not racing boy please.... Go for reputable brands.. Even though it's more ex... Please remember, you get what you pay for....

These days, i don't think so. Cutting it short is just too obvious anyway.

I will be most likely be buying a spark soon. I got some questions i wanna ask. Hope you guys can help me with it. Noob here.

 

For the box and rack right,

Its only the rack that matters is it? So am i right to say that as long i buy a rack that fits the bike, it doesnt matter which box i buy?

 

Also, anyone knows how much does it cost to spray the rims of the bike and where to do it?

 

Anywhere i can buy the limited edition coverset? Cause i like the colour. Or where do you guys normally do the paintwork.

Rack doesnt matter be it mr4,mr2.. its the base plate... Givi and kappa are the same for the monolock and monokey. Coocase,hepco are diff. Most ppl use givi so as long as u have a givi or kappa base plate most of these two brands of boxes are the same, can use the same baseplate for diff sizes of boxes
