to add on . i went to 2 bike shops to get it tested. confirm plus chop cant fix. even i change bracket.only i change rim then can fix.

i wished that was so true...i tried fixing on my spoke rims, it will rub against the spokes..i m SO disappointed with that Cham***n motors.

 

told them all that and keep telling me can clear just plug n play. no at all. totally cant fix for spoke rims. or u have any solutions to this?

 

 

i know i should ask for refund but..its ok..waited almost 3 weeks for my caliper..came wrong product, ask me to deal with them again....i rather buy from others.

Mine is the oversized disc brake already but not sure of the exact size. Brake pads = ebc pads right?

Nothing is plug and play, especially when it comes to other brands that is not meant for our bikes. Sometimes you just gotta get creative.

Hi guys, recently there has been white smoke coming out frm my pipe just today. But the engine seems ok. There's no weird sounds in the engine. What might be the problem? Anyone??

 

Based on a 4 stroke engine, the color of smoke symptoms are as follow;

 

Due to follow foreign substance in combustion chamber.

White - Water

Black - Excessive Carbon (Incomplete combustion)

Color / Blueish - Excessive Engine Oil

This one is from Ayer Rajah Camp about 12-14years ago and subsequently from TTS eurocars when I was driving a fiat punto hgt. It was rather stuck in my head because I remember the foreigner said if I see rainbow smoke, you gonna see stars as well. lolx

 

Nevertheless, symptom may has a range of reasons for the cause of the color in the smoke.

 

Like for white smoke, you'll see some car having this in the morning after a wet night as the dew has condensate into the exhaust system and usual after warming up, the white smoke is usually gone. While driving and you see excessive white smoke usually means a worn gasket, overflowed fuel water separator, damaged block, etc...

 

You'll see more black smoke in commercial diesel engines because diesel engine do not have a spark plug but rather a heating element to ignite the compressed diesel. Diesel being a less flammable product compared to petrol leave behind more carbon deposit hence the usual streak of black smoke. In Sg, you'll often encounter the local mechanic "tie the accelerator" to reduce black smoke emission, this method is normally to restrict excessive revs. Reasoning: Same time but more rev = more combustion = more carbon emission (To me, this is no different from having STD but telling the woman you are clean as you wore a condom)

Having black/dark smoke usually has different wear parts compare to white smoke. Such as cam, rocker arm, faulty plug, worn timing chain, wrong engine timing, etc etc...

 

Blueish/Colored smoke usually has mixture of excessive engine oil which usually means your engine is GG. High chance to see stars.
