I bet some of us like using these aftermarket bars like Renthal and Pro Taper. But I need some lights.

 

What is midbend,highbend and whatever bend there is? And also, there is different length of the bars right?

 

Lastly, is it hard if u guys negotiate a bend on the road? How bout swerving thru traffic?

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.

My experince is shoot on straight road & deep corner still ok but, going thru traffic jam got to have a lot of patient. Unless you are skillfull enough lah. I regret changing to after market handle bar, now i'm back to stock handle. Much better handling. Mostly i got stuck in the jam, just like driving car althought i'm riding. Hahaha.....

i changed mine to Renthal and Sunline bars.. IMO, it improves my handling..

and it also provides more protection..

low slided with Renthal, just scrape the bars and crash bars.. unlike normal bars which will give way and bend..

 

it's really up to your preferences.. there's many different bends and sweeps to choose from..

if you are scared that you are not used to it, get one with less sweep..

as for the length of the bars, no worries.. as bars can be cut at the ends to make it shorter..

dun cut also can.. i didnt..

 

for S4 i'll recommend Renthal if you are not gonna change your clamps..

 

bear in mind, if you used risers or choose high bend bars, you might needa have a longer brakeline..

so wahts with the low bends and high bend thingy? sorry im really dumb in this. what about the length? any recommended length? and i thot cutting the bar will 'weaken' the metal bar?

juz buy a gpr handlebars will do...cost only $40 at srgn rd der...no need longer brake line....

there are Rizoma bars available too.

 

i think rizoma is a lil bit pricey. i wanna invest in a good handlebar but not a pricey one. see first how. just lost my phone. no money.. :cry::cry:

High bend gives u more riding comfort if you have shorter arms, low bend better for ppl with longer arms ba.

Cutting won't weaken the bar, it just changes the length.

Renthal is good.

 

ohh. i see. but does lowering of fork needed after changing?
