Which Bikes look good with Box

I think all sports tourers look good with boxes.

Looks are subjective from one person to another. One may look unsightly for you while the same may object may be pleasing to another.

i saw sparks put sideboxes also... not bad at all... IMHO.. cruisers and tourers are the best to put side boxes....

its all about form vs function isn't it?

i feel my phantom looks pretty terrible with the rear box but i put it there so i have a "boot" to store stuff... haha

 

personally i'd rather do without it but i'd rather ride totally unhampered and comfortable than to worry that it don't look good

 

when you look at the sports tourer / tourers and all that a good number of them have the boxes or more specifically panniers built in as a part of the form so it's form and function.

 

take a look at any BMW, although it's not really built into the form factor, when you install your panniers & top boxes it seems to fit well because of the ruggedness of it...

juz my 2 cents

 

 

forgot to mention, one more reason i wanna the box is also for the additional light. coz the Phantom's brake light is pretty low and coz some kuku drivers like to smell our exhaust, i am afraid they can't see the lights so i opted for the Givi with stop light so it's at least nearly their eye level

having panniers on bikes are very functional but if you want looks then leave it out, imho a bike should not have panniers and also carrying a pillion does not bode well with the bike.

yup tourers or sports tourer looks ok with box or side panniers...

 

naked bike like FZ or Super bol'dor looks great with side pannier also... lurve it... but still i prefer bike without them... but then they are very very useful wor.

Haha I definitely agree I just saw an R6 with a pillion. The poor lady was squatting really high on the tiny back seat. Looked like a frog from behind, to be honest. What a waste of a beautiful bike.

i think R1'09, CBR1000'09, GSX1000'09, ZX1'09 all look great with box. And also Ducati 1098 also look very good with box but no one put leh. Hmmmm :D:D
