Me riding Xciting300 for a month, well I can say is very torquey scooter for 300cc.(actual 270cc).

FC wise abt 32.5km/L for running for the 1st 1000km.

This bike without oil filter and using 0.9L of engine oil only.

i;m maybe getting my 1st scooter mostly will be downtown or Xciting300 or maybe 500.

but i heard is more expensive in term of maintance for a scooter compare to a normal bike.

roughly how much mileage before changing the belt? and the cost of changing?

Downtown needs to change approx 50000km according to Motorsports. Belt cost $269

Actually scooter is not more ex than normal bikes. To me it's the same or even slightly cheaper. Oil change is standard depending on what oil you choose. Transmission oil chnage is quite standard $8 everywhere.

Downtown and Exciting FC 30km/litre. I am sure many bike cannot match this.

I just went to Kymco showroom at Citimac, along Macpherson Road. Eyeing the Downtown 300i, but also considering the 125i. The salesman said OTR price for 300i is $12.6k, and 125i is $9.8k. I'm riding a Super 4 now, but want to switch to a "gentleman" bike (pants won't get dirty so much) for work. But very anxious about Kymco's maintenance. So far so good, y'all?

Almost $3k difference but from a S4 point of view, don't downgrade too much cc.

300i FC about 30km/L ++, which is very good.

Bro,

think i might have saw u before, IMO get silverwing instead (can pm me if u wan to know more). FYI KYMCO spare parts all come from 1 distributor, so even if u decided to change workshop, the spare still need to get from them. Anyway i have just changed my 2010 Xciting 300i to FZ1, after some "wonderful" services provided by them.

Xciting 300 have K&N filter, fyi xciting 300i and granddink 150 both uses the same type and size filter, so u may actually explore in that direction.

i see... thx for the highlight..

mind share wif me abt your issue? :p
