Anyway Sun, the silver colour, rather the octave of the tone, we have on our bikes is easily matched by those at the spray shop. Perhaps the onli difference is that it looks 'more shiny' as compared.

Patch work can be done almost to 100% using putty to cover the creveses, and the final paint job finishing up the restoration.

These small cosmetical defects are jus, on the surface... Dont let it bite u or eat into the enjoyment of the ride.

Cheer up, nothing to be sad.

Cheers mate!!

Hi Jleo,

Tks. That was kind of u.

Maybe I should leave that scar alone since I've been very bad luck recently. The more I tried to do something, the more trouble I get into. So eager to do servicing that I let other mechanice do it. In the end, I get this scar. Anyway, free things never come gd. If turn out that the paintwork is sh*t, I'm really in deep sh*t. On the other hand, it's not scared by me, it's the damn mechanic! Really getting paranoid bcos I bought this bike with hard earn money, that's why I'm frastrated!

I have make a trip down to Wing Fuat just now and was quatoed 13.4k for the machine price only. Its a dark blue Divv and the plate is FV 6XXX.

Hi Jleo,

I think it supposed to be early 90's...not 80's.

If 80's I rather go for suzuki~katana's!-750 or 1100 broom!broom!...they were killers in those time as a naked bike...he,he,he...!

Well Diversion have it's own attraction and it takes a good admirer :lovestruck: there's no distraction of graphics and it just a tone colour, to let the machine standout!!

Hi Seanwu,

How was it compared to the Southern Divvy's condition, unless you have seen it before?

If you can break up more details it will help those buggers who are more interested on this bike..

In my experience, one can never insist another party from doing wat they feel best fit...

Ur advice is sound, but only those who understand it as so will take heed. Anything that happens will at most inconvienence us, but the bulk of the repercutions for their actions is done by themselves.

Whatever their choices are, we'll not turn any one back anyone. But be sure that SG will nag n grumble at u from start till end... I'm sure beebee can testify to that... Heh.. :cheeky: :cheeky:

For the hotel stay, towels are provided for so unless u are very particular about the hygene n stuff, do bring one. Also why not adopt the poilcy of toiletries(less shaver n toothbrush) sharing. Cuts on the unnecessary clutter.

Anyway, how time flies, i jus realised that its less than 9 days to go... Is it just me or is it bec of the Merlot i jus had??

Anyway...

Cheers!

Hi Guys,

Just a update regarding the scratch on my fuel tank.

Yesterday, I went back to the shop & happened that there're a few sample of paintworks, supposed to be done by a reputated co. I took a look at the paintwork & after careful looking, I can see the difference. I pointed out to the shop owner & he agreed with what I said. Then knowing that I can spot the difference, he changed his mind abt guranteeing me getting back the original paintwork that I've on my div.

He gave me an alternative: a bragster tank bra at 1/2 price (from the forum, it's $150)....hmmm.....I'm still thinking abt it.

What do u guys think?

What is there to think about, i feel that u r a little sissy in your decision making. Of course he will agreed with u, cos he save in terms of $$ & time on paint work. & now he ask u to pay for d bagster. I think u can b easily con. U need to b more street smart bro. These jokers cannot b trusted. Just ask him to re-spray it, d difference in colour will not b so obvious to d eye then d scratch. cos, d scratch may effect your re-sale value later. u can always pay yourself $150 for d "bagster" later months till u have enough $$. If u r to fork out yourself $$ to re-spray it, it will definitely cost more then $180. thus u have to weigh d difference.

While, After d re-spray may b u can pretend that u r not satisfied with it, furiously bark at him then u ask him to sell u d bagster tank protector for $75.

Sorry bro, if u feel that words i use r too straight forward & had offended u. My apology, but i truely means it cos u r confuse & a victim.

Hey i really agree that our divys are really one of a kind in singapore. Every time i stop at a traffic junction, i will always get stares from either motorists who are around me or from pedestrian walking along the pavements. Its like we are from another planet and they have not seen any bike like this before??

I've this admirers all the time...say it pedestrains or at traffic llights (young)bikers just stop slightily behind/beside my bike and will be admiring!! he,he,he...

Hi Jleo,

I know in other words, You are saying don't care about them..! that is their problem! and all the while they doing it and nothing happens...so why bother! bro!

I don't know whether is my age or me getting paranoia over safety issues, I have seen few accidents thru my riding life, It is only me being human to let you buggers know! and always try to insist you people for you own goodness!

(a simple accident can cause alot of inconvenience to others not only on themselves) which a full face, shoes, gloves and jacket can solved/protect...I only said about minimum riding gears required. Becasue I've been thru 120km/h accident with gears survived to talk to you buggers!

I know there's no safety gear can give you 100% protection!

But I am happy those who are serious about riding (responsible riders) have a better of everything in their means...e.g Swift and few others.

When other riders look at you- whilst you're traveling you put a good example! and people learn it from you! they will get the idea...safety with style! better then bike stylo but rider "Karranguni"!!

I ever said I've seen riders with slippers and seen that same fellow loose his toes too!

I don't want to go into more details -you buggers thing I am nagging n grumbling- which sometime works...he,He,he,He...!

Anyway goodluck and hope you buggers hint my advise!!! lets make our riding pleasurable an we try to enjoy more rides together!

hmmm hello~~ huha ... sorry for the interruption... anyone intend to import Divvy's full fairing?? I have this intention to get th full fairing but have little info about it.~~

Btw.... I enjoy my divvy veri much~~ huaha ~~ now he is at shop for tuning and servicing of front fork~~

Define Danger

More time on road = More Danger

Less time on road = Less Danger

Slower Speed = More Time On Road

Faster Speed = Less Time on Road

Thus

Less Time on Road = Less Danger = Faster Speed~~
