Hi Div buggers, for pple interested in Eagle's windscreen,

After 2 wks of negotiation with Eagle, they have agreed to lower the price of a windscreen to aus$110 plus postage. Initally they quoted aus$140 per piece + aus$36.50 postage.

The thickness of the acrylic is 3mm, custom to your height, comes in Light smoke tint or a dark smoke tins or lots of other vibrant colors like red or blue or yellow. In short, tell them the color & they'll try to make it for u. It'll take them a few days to make it & get it in the post to u. But pls confirm with them in email for the delivery period. If not, it'll just be like skidmarx's case.

Payment is by credit card upon receiving an order from email. If u're interested, write an email to them with the height that u want. U can state my name (Sunny) in the email so that john will know we belong to the same diversion group. Then u should be enjoying the same price stated above. Pls, I don't earn any commision from this. I'm trying to lower the price because I want to order 1 as well. If u think u can further reduce the price, pls go ahead. I'll be more than happy to pay less.

After closing my lounge just now, as i walked towards my bike at d back alley, saw my bike titled sidway & laid against d wall. Frightened d hell out of me, must b some drunkened mother ****er knocked on to my bike, luckily no scratch at all, cos d handle bar, engine guard & box safe it.

Thank you to whoever sms me for d kopi session, my apology that i have totally forgotten to reply cos then i was working, it was pretty busy then.

SG

i went to HL this morning, d rear seat cover will burn u for d miserable $450. not worth even to consider it. Met a TP there, had found out that they received 53 units of new diversion 1 1/2 mths ago. He also mentioned that several of their divvy encountered oil leak from d engine, particularly d gasket area, but he did not emphasise much. However, it may due to their abusive style of riding, cos bike belong to d gov. mah.

HL charged me $40 just to trouble shoot d right signal, reason cos d cable rounted to underneath d tank to d connector has loosen. d mechanic just simply tighten it that's all. But has taken almost 1 hr to rectified. I did not change d fuel floater in d tank cos need to place my bike there & also feel that not worth changing it & also not my primary priority.

The eagle screen seems very tempting to me leh.

I'm interested in the screen. Currently trying to find out how tall I would like the screen to be using a styrofoam board. Height of stock windscreen is 41.5cm. Tried 20cm (up till my chin), 25cm (up till my lips) & 28cm taller (up till my nose). All heights are still under my eye level but the difference is how far on the road I can overlook the screen. Still can't decide. Just wondering should I order the tallest? Hmmm.....If after using I find that I don't like the height, is there any person who can file & trim the acrylic piece? If I order too short, there's no way to extend the height.

After using Motul 300v, the bike seems smoother. But when starting the engine, hear more ticking sound than usual.

Kevin,

Can always try. Then u'll have 2 screens for evaluation. Looking at the price, what do u think? Expensive for a try out?

If possible, don't know can we request to cut holes like ST11 screen so that less stress and windly if we need to hide behind the screen.

wat u guys tink?

Guys,

Noticed that the Diversion riders here are more into cosmetics/external mods instead of power/speed enhancing stuff. Anyone here into the power/speed stuff?

Hi OMD,

Where do you want to fly to? So fast for what?

Actually you should be contented with what this bike has to offer...the speed is good, the comfort and the durability of the bike.

Unless you want to join in the Moto GP, you can actually try to beat haroze (our GP champion) :cheeky: first then decide whether you want to challenge Rossi next?

Well unless you are just talking about increasing the pickup of our bike, then i am also interested in how it can be improve?

Swift,

OMD always faster and better than anyone of us

He is the redliner...

To increase the pickup, try the following:

1. remove e silencer of our exhust

2. remove air filter and place a cloth on top of e inlet

3. change or machine a big bore engine w oversize piston

O... lastly remember to install a pair of FJR abs braking system juz in case we couldn't stop in time. :cheeky:
