Dear Fellow handsome buggers,

We'll be doing a short ride up over 3 days from 150705 to 170705, destination to the Land of Smiles n Tomyam...

Itenary details are as follow:

Set off on Friday (thursday night) 150705 @ 0001hrs from GP Petronas (have a very good rest before that or buy a dozen red bull drink or if possible bring a osim or oto machine along to tickle your nerve ends)..

*Full Riding Gear and travel Insurance...a must!

Top up stops along:

1. Ayer Keroh

2. Rawang

3. Gunung Semanggol

4. Bukit Kayu Hitam

We should arrive Hatyai just before checkin time.

On the way back, we'll set off on Sun, 170705 @0800hrs(thai time) to head back..

Top up stops along:

1. Bukit Kayu Hitam

2. Gunung Semanggol

3. Ulu Bernam

4. Seremban

5. Pagoh

Based on a 120km/h timing(to avoid paying M's Police's personnel tax/services), we should reach GP by 2200hrs.

Costs(Fixed) per pax:

1. Accomdation : 600baht (2 nites for twin sharing)

2. Petrol : RM200 (based on 14.5km/L n exc 1st top up for 1900km)

3. Thai Insurance : RM13

4. Food : 700baht/day (eat like king n still got alot leftover)

RM50 will suffice in M'sia

5. Massage : ~240baht (If required/indivdual needs++)

hmm in a rush . actually if we leave on thur midnite.. we will reach hatyai before 12pm on fri . .then whole day to shop for yr bike accessories then n u still got sat leh .. mayb can go penang in stead of hatyai for sat nite. then sun morning ..then go back spore. got ample time wor :cheer:

Normally; let's say if u leave at 10 pm Thursday, U can reach Custom at about 6-7 am...Checkin hotel at 8 am, Then take a short nap until 1300 hrs, this got whole Friday afternoon and Saturday to play...

Wah...getting earlier and earlier....i got IPPT test on thurs at 6pm...after that im going back to rest and fight the ZZZzzz monster b4 "he" attack me during the ride up!

About the Thai Trip!!

I like your suggestion leaving at about 2200hrs thursday nite...BUT we must take a good care of other buggers too...Like, swift warming up* before the Ride..he,he,he..!

*(IPPT)

Swift my suggestion take a good sleep- till the whole morning before~ IPPT, then after the IPPT down one can red bull (blue can $2.70) with lot of ice...take a cat-nap..

If I travel at the same speed around 120-140km/h ~ I might fall a sleep unless you buggers full throttle at some stretch of road it would be better..! for the Rider and the bike -clear carbonnnmaa!

Don't worry Custom we- asusual try to meet up at the shell petrol kiosk or kopi tiam before 2nd link... maybe have some light snack before hitting the road!! how about you buggers!!!!!

We can meet early for a light snack- till all the buggers turn up at the schedule time..!

BiBi, I like your idea too! heading back to Penang!..But let other handsome buggers make up their choice..as I said before me anything go as long all buggers satisfies..

What kind accessories are we looking for??? some suggestion Please!! for those who had been there!!

No problem, wil stick to the original plan...just that I'll have to load myself with red bull.

Cos I know myself..my alertness is worst at 3-5 am and 8-9 am in the morning.

Thus usually I travelled from from 10 pm onwards , takle a break at 3 am and time for bed at 8 am...isn't this wonderful...

As for the accessories, there was a place where u could revamp your seats to make it wider , cheap some more. Just that I'll have to relocate that place again.

Not sure about you fellas, but the Diversion gives me a pain in the ass for long distance ride.

I almost same with you.. my eyes will have problems keeping open around 7am when the sun has risen, especially after butterworth and nearing the border.....!!

The only thing that can keep me awake is... smoking and the thought of crossing Sadao to have my first bowl of thai mee soup and Nescafe! :smile: think tonite i shall have a bowl...

may i suggest to have a meetup tentatively set on the 2nd July which is two weeks before the thai trip to have the usual practise --->

1) discussion on the route

2) sleeping arrangement

3) collect money for travel insur

4) try to brin some extra cash in case we decided to collect for the hotel rooms.

About Q3 state the amount you are going to collect? We just bring enough cash at the amount stated...unless you carry alot of small notes to change....

About Q4 those extra cash you want it in thai currency or What???

1) for the timing, definitely will be during nite time. mayb after 9pm? hmmm will keep u guys update when the date is near.

2) if it is as wat justin had stated int he post ~$5/ day . think roughly S$15- S$20 will be sufficient.

3) as for the Q4 ans... think it will be alright to give in SIN $.. as for how much n whether we consolidating the amt or not .. still yet to confirm .. we need to c how the sleeping arrangmment like.. for eg . custom requested a room to himself.. so the amt i cant really state now. but roughly will be defintiely below $100..

After all the $$ n effort u put in to customise the bike to your liking, it is a great pity indeed to give up at this point without even taking it out 4 a long ride.

Hope you have deliberated over this decision carefully.

Its' your decision- You spent quite an amount on it and never event had a chance for a long distance ride with us Buggers to satisfy yourself and already wanted to sell...And I say it again ~ it is your decision..

I wasn't surprise at all...frankily I tell you -you'll move up to driving soon or later!!! Riding dosen't suit's your profession...trust me!

Every Bugger Have the right to make their own decision!
