FYI

http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem...ot_allowed.html

All electric driven are allow in Singapore.

Only air horn are not allow.

LTA did not set any sound limit for horns.

Check through onemotoring for full detail.

but careful that higher rating bulb is not allow.

Our is 55W/60W the bulb muz be at this rating during inspection.

If can, i'll put my 100W/140W in liao... :sian:

Hi Haroze & Custom,

Thank you very much for your valuable advice.

My idea is to keep the original horn and its connection.

Run an additional cable, press button with higher current tolerence and connect a pair of louder horn hide them inside the lower fairing.

:cheeky:

Hi Custom,

May I check with you about the way of install the horns.

I just bought the horns, not yet install. think of DIY.

1. Remove the (+) from current horn, connect to relay.

2. Another (+) from batt to 13A fuse, from fuse to relay, from relay parallel to both horn.

3. Remove the earth from current horn and connect to new horns.(Optional)

Is it correct? Or do I miss out something?

Mctan,

You forgot to take the (-) from the horn and connect to relay.

Cos you have (+) into the relay you need to (-) out from it.

This will activate the relay and allow your battery (+) to reach your horn.
