If that's the case why not plan on another date? Say the following weekends then.

Met wit him, doesn't have the TP big boxes. Overall pretty good condition though. Owner doesn't seem very friendly....

ya, the owner is not very friendly, and it does not have the big box. that's why did not have that "must get" feeling... anyway, i think he said he's selling to a shop last saturday with a ready buyer soon if there's no private buyer....

so did u buy from him ? what's the market price of a 2nd hand diversion now huh ?

No idea leh. I bought mine last July for 13.5k. 4 months old bike with mileage around slightly above 5000km i think. Anyway if u've read thru the past postings, diversion no longer to be in production. So if u r really interested to get, must find one really soon. :goodluck:

Yep. Right on target.

It was to Cambodia, Palary was supposed to be with me. It was a pity that he had to turn back after reaching Suratthani.

Cambodia has some of the toughest roads. A 155km stretch took us about 8 hrs. Being a street bike didn't help. But suprisingly the CB750 and Diversion came out unscathed. :cheer:

The other dual purpose bikes faced problems like fork oil seal breaking, pannier brackets cracking and rear indicator breaking due to the vibrations.

We covered around 6k km for the whole ride. Overall it was one of the most interesting and tiring trip that I did.

thats pretty fast. no problem at the thai or cambodia borders?

No problem at Cambodian border but a bit slow at the Thai border both at Aryanaprthet and the one across Koh Kong as they are not linked by computers. There was no paperwork for the bikes on the cambodian side.

Passing through Bangkok is a bit tough, even though its just the outskirts. Got lost both when going up as well as when coming back. :slapforehead:

But one thing is sure, this is one sturdy bike, considering that it came out unscathed after the thrashing it took. It was a really a very good experience. :thumb:

Yo Shaji, noticed that your divvy has this side fairing with your name on it. Where did u buy it from, cost and self-installed? It's very nice! :bounce:

I ordered mine from Pyramid Plastics through Max Eqpt from Katong. Its $300 without painting. $180.00 for the painting, inclusive of name.

By the way I read this thread about making keys for the panniers. I tried many places, finally I managed to get it done at a shop located at the corner of Jln Besar and Kitchner Road.
