Hiya,

Personally, I like DOCS or DRS (Diversion Riders Singapore). What about the rest of the riders here?

Anyway, never seen you here before, Euro. Have we met? Care to introduce yourself to rest of the Diversion owners here?

From,

OMD

Shouldn't use 'Club', cos we ain't one.

DRS may be more appropriate.

Hi

there is a plan to organise a charity ride in singapore. So pls kindly look in trips and thrills thread.

thank you for your kinda understanding.

Posted

What do u guys think about the charity riding event? IMHO, if organised properly would indeed bring credibility 2 the riders in the domain of the public. I would support such events as its good we give something back to those less fortunate.

However though i might have said i wouldnt mind coordinating, but puttin my name down makes me obliged to attend the meetings and with 3weeks to exams this arrangement is not feasible. ALso after this friday, i'll my computer will not be ard so i will only keep myself updated 2-3 times a week of the happenings.

So can someone take my place instead if u all are interested in joinin in the activity. If not we continue about our lives as usual n see u all after the 14th when we go 4 that trip up to PD or KL.

Guys,

Does anyone knows when is your divvy going into Reserve?

When the Fuel indicator hits 1/2 way, what does it mean? Does it include the reserve or not?

Or when the Orange light lites up, does it mean U are going into reserve?

Hiya,

When the orange fuel light comes on, it means that you have hit reserve (5litres of fuel left). Most of the time, the light comes on earlier than the 19L mark.

Hope that helps.

Yes Correct,

As OMD says but sometimes the Fuel reserve warning light "on" before 18L and the fuel inside the tank is around 23L not 24L as claimed by Yamaha...In the europe side some guys hit till empty and they top up to the brimp its only about 23L maybe due to the tank shape and those fuel lever and some air pocket in the top tank...

So you know why I add the buzzer to the fuel warning light sometimes I over look or forget after a busy day...or sometime some buggers at the carpark just like to sit on the bike and fiddle or reset the speedometer...

Can I hear the warning buzzer??? YES, not loud but sure to hear the buzzer...

Quite easy to fix the buzzer(12v buzzer from SimLim Tower)...after you remove the screen,6 rubber sockets with nut which holds the screen(just pull the rubber socket out each one towards you slowly) then there are 4 screws 2 on each side remove them and then the top cover which exposed the back of the guages...

Look for the fuel warning light pull it out...there are to wires link to it, quite easy 1 is (+) the other is (-)...then you know what to do...after fix test it make sure it works (how "switch off" the cut off switch then press the start button because the warning lights all are link)...always use a cable-tie to secure the buzzer...

When you want-to fix back the rubber sockets sometimes it is troublesome add some natural lubricant (saliver) it works pretty well...then put back the cover, screen as how you removed them...

actual full tank is only 22.6 litres instead of 24litres, twice happened to me where i have over-estimated the reserve & eventually have to top up from bone dry. clocked 254 miles before i have to stop for SOS.

nice to see you guys still with the xj.

hI gUyS,

It's like more people like or prefer the sound of S.D.O.G (Singapore Diversion Owners Group) what do you guys think...I anything goes all happy... I'm happy...

I had fix up my spot light under the cowling (the bulge around the signal) inside I drill thru the cowling (faring) for the bolt(screw) to hold the spot lights and a hole at the top for the switch (no regret) ...satisfied and tested okay...

There won't be much vibration in there...and quite hiden as well...

So guys, when is the "meet up" make it a once in a month affair (supper) excluding other outing...:hungry:
