Casio,

Heard about shipment for XJ9 it's only for TP...coming in...

Bikeproduction do not have XJ9, My friend gave a call they says no more stock...they sell it off or what..! or all the while they are lying...they told my friend to take fazer...Instead, he is not interested...

So far opposite SK shop there is one new XJ9 $17000...heard with box.

Everbright $17500... left one piece.?

My friend change his mind, on the bike he book a STX13 honda $32,000...

Sorry friend about 2nd hand, it is hard to get by...maybe MSC only have...

The truth is this bike hardly give any problem...basic mill (engine), simple carburation, shaft driven..is the key point...this work horse that keep on going...

I did asked around about 2nd to no avail...:goodluck:

Hi Silverghost,

I think all the while they are laying la. When i went down, they actually told me that they still have a number of new XJ9 for sale but the bike is not on show. But they did try to push me to get a Fazer instead even though i kept asking about Divvy. Anyhow, i'm not returning to them. Quite arrogant i think.

Looks like there's only 1 plac in the market that sells a used Divvy. Will check it out again. Hopefully the price can be lowered. 14K does sound hefty.

In any case, i know all the bros riding Divvy here would help to advise me about anything i need to know.

Take care and ride safe!

STX13.. nice looking bike. Too costly unfortunately.

Hope i can join you guys for Divvy outing soon

Hi Melvin,

The ins for STX13 is about $900+ 2nd party, the rdtax is about $500+ so about 1500+ need to fork out every year...too expen$ive...okay, for my friend he is buying a bike after 6yrs...he trade in his bike for $5000....not like me every 3yrs change to a new bike....the last bike ST, I hold it for three and a half years...6mth more...

I hope this bike XJ9, I would hold it for a longer time...

The V-strom is it your's outside looi's...! look nice...

I tried to sit on the V-strom inside looi's on the 2nd floor. I find the seat is quite high for me...

Hi melvin,

XJ9 powerfull not really, there are many bikes out there can out run this steel stead...but this is more to a gentlemen type enough speed to bring you there in comfort...and this bike have certain personnelities...

You bought the MHR helmet at $70 dollar...did you go thru earlier threads in here...Just go into the shop tell, that guy that my friend recommend me here and tell him (personnely) that helmet you can get for $60...next time just tell him that...ok!

Riding your bike there KL, running in ( break in)...is not a good idea!!!....If, in ago you can cover about 700kilos to and fro, lost and found (arm with a map) but traffic, speed of other vehicles, bikes it could be hazard...

Those people over there never go (don't want to go) to school they don't know what are those road signs are for...they think those signs on the road is to beautify the long stretch of road so they don't get bored..he,he,he.. speed limit they think it is mend for educated people only.he,he,he.. so you think over, if you can keep up to their speed pace then ok...

But your RPM...must maintain around the recommended rev once in awhile just going over a little...what do you think.!

From beginning if you maintain the bike well including proper 'running in' there shouldn't be any problems ahead... I learn this from old (timer) riders..

Hey palary,

I got my first MHR from him Vincent he sold me $115 the one with the spoiler(scoop) the second one $75 with spare dark visior which I did not use look horrible...on it, after bargain he throw in the dark visior cost $10...I bought the 2nd helmet for $65...

Then 3rd helmet,(arai copy) I knew the Price of it, and ask him for $60 and he gave me that price I told him at this price I can recommend you more of my friends...

He was surprised (shock)the number of my friends bought it by a pairs...almost he sold around 50 pieces in a week...my friends only.

So I told him more well be coming in....get in the stock...

So you know why? the reason asking you guys to ask or tell him personnelly $60 if there are other customers around...

It's true they sell it around $75.. But for you guys, you shopuld have no problem ,you can just tell him Vincent that we are from the same group...tell him $60... no need to bargain..o_O

Guys any 2nd opinion for (YDOGS)

My earlier suggest using the YDOGS, the words fully occupies the back the center 'O' will be the yamaha logo, understand...something like this...

Y (yamaha) D (diversion) O (suppose to be owners but use, 'yamaha logo' tuning forks) G (group) S (singapore).

I try to do a sketch on this then we meet up.! alright ..

I think the manual tells you not to exceed a certain RPM for prolong riding.. definitely NOT maintain below 100km/h... if you guys are interested, you all are welcome to join us on this fun ride.. the total route travelled is gonna be in the range of 400 miles... of course, subjected to changes and consensus from riders....

Hi Silverghost ! Hopefully your friend can find 18'' tyer for his STX13.I' ve had a very bad experience with my CB1000 before I switch to XJ9 coz it uses 17'' tyer and is very common of availability. Why not the FJR 1300.Voted 'bike of the year 2003' by most of the motorcycle mags around the world....! It's also uses 17'' radial.Hopefully he is aware of it.:goodluck:

hI Harose,

Thanks for the tip...you highlighted...He bought the STX at looi's motor Lee the sales man.... never highlight about this problems but to eager to sell the bike I know abit about the bike like ( hot enough to fry your balls and the recalls) but I know the he Lee brandizing about STX only, where I told my friend about FJR as what you mention best seller and more OTR (but Lee says that FJR fairing have problem noisy and such things)...but my friend he is more interested in the shape...he is the buyer... I have no say...

Hey thanks alot.

What I know those people wanted to buy the STX they have 2nd taughts.... buy the ST11 instead, now new ST11 are coming in as ST11P (P) police(not for SG TP) Looi's modifies it to local use, colours white only...

Its a shame if the production line stops for this bike...
