About the trip as what we discussed on the meet up, should be on 13th,14th maybe(only) extend to 15th of september trying to keep with in 2days and 1night.. :smile: ...!

Hope there would be another meet up before the trip to confirm the destination and the schedulings...

Hoping those guys like Euro and "the new guy" who suppose to meet on 10th would turn up...for the trip!!! :bounce:

Guys,

For the upcoming trip, the destination is not fixed yet. I am proposing at doing a east coast ride (via Mersing onwards). It would be a nice leisure ride by the beach all the way. No high speed NSH kinda of riding this time round.

As for the dates, what can I say............. there are people working on shifts, army personnel, superstitious folks (u know who u are). So to fix a date where I can get everyone to go is really very, very difficult.

We'll have to see how it goes.

As what you said, it is not easy to pleased everyone it's true but you must fix a date so those who wants to go can apply their leaves for that day. Most of us are a working/shift/office hrs/students....if you want to please everybody you can never fix a date :faint: this trip is most likely will be a 2days and 1 night trip...am I right?

15th of August(Sun) is the Chinese 7th month begins...so we hit the road to West Malaysia on 13th(Fri) early morning and return back late 14th(Sat). during the meet up we ask around about this (13,14/8/2004) dates most of them says ok...

So I suppose/propose we fix this dates and see what is the outcome...any changes in date please let everyone know in advance...

Hi Guys,

Today I met cougar on sembawang rd towards(Admiralty Dr) I follow him to the multi/storey car park and we had some conversations. I told there is a trip coming up next month to look out on the thread for updatings..He might joint us for the trip but no promises...

The best thing about his bike it just hit about 13k+ mileage only for 3 years of useage...under use for a tourer ....anyway he is a nice guy...maybe can say only green divvy so far I have ever seen on the road in sgp...

Cougar if you polish your bike it stands out, from the rest...of us.

Hiya,

There are no longer brand new Diversions in the market. The model has been discontinued in 2003 December. Even getting your hands on a used one is quite difficult. Most of us Diversion riders know one another, and last I checked, no one is selling their bike............not for now that is.

Hi guys,

Yesterday, I saw one (U S D) -Un-identified Speeding Diversion along braddell towards the direction of braddell heights or westlake school...dark colour,only side panniers no top box... about 1900+hrs...no chance to see the number plate the bike is too fast...I think the rider rides too fast.... ...!

I not prep for trip yet, lack of lots of gear. Anyway,this time of year is my most buzzzzziest, cos i always got a 2-3 rush accounting jobs to do for my clients, really no choice have to do it for them. I am stocking up on riding gear as i go along, eventually hope to mod my diverted into a TP diverted!

Since my discussion with SilverGhost, i got inspiration to do the TP fairing using light thin aluminium sheets and cut it to size and screw on the original fairing, aluminium is ez to work with and cut well with a Black & Decker Jigsaw shld be no hazzle. As for the TP engine guard, just buy the original from Hong Leong wrkshop will do. Replace the TP's beepo beepo(siren) with fog lights, shld complete the look. Do i hv to get approval from TP or LTA to do all this?

Hey Cougar,

My best advise to you is to sign on with TP you save all the trouble to modify your bike. :cheeky: he,he,he,he...!

You need to prepare all the gears spent some time on it,maybe say about $600 you need Riding Jacket with Paddings $300, Riding Boots $180, Gloves $120...all this are branded/quality goods...pricing

We see when we are free again, then we arrange for another trip let say most likely around the month of October... maybe you will be ready by then
