SilverGhost, nope, my wife decide not to ride on my bike so often now, so i hv the bike more for my pleasure!!! Due to the fact we maybe gettin a small van for the family.

Hi Cougar,

You are getting a van, so you are still and will be riding your bike for pleasure am I right!.. if you have any extra cash after you bought the family van; why don't you add those fairing extenders and do up the bike maybe respray to silver tone fix those signal lights !!!, which you have been thinking to do for some time!!... I remembered you wanted to bend some aluminium plates or something like that..?? I think safety wise it is not advisable!...

If you have the time why don't you join us on some of the up coming trips.."2005".

Oxygen,

How much did you paid for the 'HELL' steel braided hose for the front brakes including the installations...because I am going to replace mine too...For Now, no more stocks 'Hell hoses' at the moment...most likely by Late Jan- I should have replaced it I place my orders/deposit already...

Guys Anybody Interested In Installing "HELL braided Hose" I get my workshop to change them- price wise- the Workshop says they can give me a competive price...

If you guys are interested :bouncefire: I can check with the wkshp...and can place some orders together maybe can get better price!!! Interested need to place a deposit at the workshop and hose colour.

Casper and O2,

About the voltmeter I have check with the shop at the Alexandra Village; their suppliers send in the wrong stock of voltmeters- so have to wait for the next shipment !!! As for me I am in no rush to install the voltmeter...but I will fix!

Guys just for INFO - about the Clover jackets their new shipment will be coming in by late Jan or either early Feb...till then guys.

Thanks SG,

So far don't feel the need for extra wings on my fairing. Prefer to spend my $$ on other things like hugger, brake hose, etc....

I've tried my custom make handle bar mounted on the bike. it is ok other than cable & wire too short.

Till today, no time to mod. the wire.

Juz need to extend the wire and buy our TP's cable if they allow us to.

Else will hv to custom make the cable....

This month $$ very tight.... so kiv till my pocket is abt loose.... :cheeky:

Thanks for ur info on O2.

Juz found out that one of my side pannier lock miss.... :giddy: :giddy:

Don't know wat happened.......

I miss you guys also.... :lovestruck:

N oso is d old TP 750 bike sale?

Hi there niterider929,

We guys like our bikes and we modify them to certain extend, but not to that extend of scaring other motorist off the road...he,he,he..!

So far no-one in The Diversion Group had modified up to that stage yet but there is a guy an(outsider) not from the diversion group, probably we can say or call him a clown, totally do up the whole bike- spraying the bike white and not forgetting including the siren light so imagine that bro-as what we people heard -public made some complains about that clown to lta. LTA ask that clown to remove those unneccessary modification...after that we don't know what happen  ??

No I don't think the TP 750 available anymore... it is Yamaha "Seca 750" chain driven, there are 2nd hand diversions(XJ9s) out there if you are really looking for one.

I saw one, reasonly few days back - at the new southern motors behind the Alexandra Village...with high screen and side panniers..!

Those things TP used is unnecessary modifications meh? i ever thought of doing the same, but not using all TP stuffs, cos i think their front engine crash bar too wide, but the back pillion guard is excellent. And those mysterious wings (side wind deflectors or so call) actually seems to be only suitable for TP's particular brand of high windshield, the skidmax/givi/watever OEM windshield you guys buy outside doesn't fit well with it, something to do with the angle the shield slants back. TP's shield is really straight, and absolutely no tint at all.

Next round i change my front fork oil, i gona install scramble type fork seals protector(black), shld make it look kinda enduro at the forks!!! hehe. But duno need to take out the mfr's fork protector anot?

SG, actually i said using aluminium to bend into the wind deflectors is quite ok, cos the aluminium is gona be thin and ez to DIY, but another option can also custom make with fibreglass from those motorshop that does custom boxes for bikes/cars spoilers, i think they can do it.

But since now i got new design, i not using wind deflectors, i using enduros handle bar protectors to go with the fork protector look!!! More original bro.

But u know me, think only, but take really snail pace to do it!!!:thumb:

Bro Cougar,

Everything starts front thinking(imagination), you already there bro!! whether you start tomorrow or 2 years later, you already thought of it...:cheer:

Bro you say that you wanted to use the enduros bar protectors (actually- finger/knuckle protectors use during riding/bashing thru shrubs/bushes) on your bike but when you turn your handle to the either ends will the protector grace or hit the cowling!!! ...what I know the brake and clutch levers is just nice about 2 inch gap only from the cowling... :nono: ?

About using the fork protector its only uses cable tight to hold it against the fork so it is quite easy to install and remove...by yourself.

why don't you add a (belly pan) matching colour which increase its cosmetic looks making it more fierceloh! if you wanted to do it PM me me also wanted to do!

From double seat into a single seat add the seat cover like the TP and spray it a matching colour to your bike its a...Wow factor!

Do something about your brake light maybe add another, extra brake lights...!

Ya, expensive! Previous blue FW (1 yr 2 mths) was priced at 14.8K but there are pple out there who'll still pay for it! Maybe price is not a problem for some pple. I suppose after southern managed to sell that at 14.8K, they happily priced this next FW silver (1 yr 7 mths) at a slightly lower price at 14.5K. Maybe 5mths = $300.

I think becos Yamaha has almost two identical models in the line, they drop the lower sales one, Fazer 1000 must hav outsell Diversion in the line-up. So it makes economically profitable sense to focus production on the hot-selling fast moving model. Fazer is also call a sport-touring bike rite? Some more its using R1 engine, one engine can use on two hot selling production line somemore. Whereas Diversion is only one of its kind, maintain by govt-back police force, so no economic sense to market it on fickle minded consumer market.

Hi Custom,

A Picture Says a Thousand Words, from my technical view, your left panniers' lock has been drop off by vibrations.

Custom the only choice is to replace both sides lock, no point replacing a side and holding on to 2 set of keys, sooner or later the other side also give way... ..

Almost all the bikes have this problem and mostly goes un-notice. The manufacturer can't do away the vibrations, they only can minimise it.

The bikes' vibration always amplifies towards the rear. Most of them only knows or notice when they mount a top pannier...while speeding, there are other factors also involve like CG, tires, suspensions etc:

(Voltmeter)

My friend recommends me a voltmeter the shop is along tai seng rd (near paya lebar) they are dealing in off shore items, what my friend says their voltmeter is mend for 'motor boat' and it is about $60/- water proof and compact. ( I'm just considering only) abit expensive!
