can be any bike model..

i ask that juz to noe which type of ride majority prefer after riding babyblade..

as u say longer for drag and short for handling..

look like most like speed on straight over speed/handling at corner..

:)

I believe the longer wheelbase is to prevent wheelie under heavy acceleration bah.. so i guess the shorter the better as long as the machine dun end up wheelie everytime u open the throttle

The RR on my Fireblade represents "Race Replica"

is up to individual control..

if the rider like to open throttle everytime and anyhow throw the clutch, sure wheelie one..

but short or long wheelbase is one's individual preference..

haya wif a long wheelbase still can clear PG track at 1:46 wif some corners that narrow..

:)

Need some help here.

Would like to know more abt the L model and the RR model..

What exactly is the difference?

Appreciate all the advise.. :)

Oh 1 more thing.. i knw the CBR is already pretty low on its height, could it be lower? For eg: like lowering the suspension? Or is there anything that can be done to lower the height?

Carburettor Main jet size

L Model 108

R Model 105

Forks

L Model Damping Rod Forks

R Model Cartridge Forks

Electrical System

L Model Has on/off switch for headlight and has pole lights

R Model No on/off switch for Headlight, it switches on when you switch on the ignition and no pole lights

Except for the forks, everything else can be easily changed to the L model "spec" without spending a bomb. And also the L model supposed to have no powercut, but by now all the CBR 400 R model also should have the powercut removed. So in the end it is up to you to decide which bike you want. R model is the "newest" model so it tend to have lesser problems. However it's hard to say, you could have a very well maintained L model out there as well or you could end up with a badly maintained R Model. I believe you asking coz you wanna buy one, so best advise is bring someone who has rode a CBR 400 for a while when you go to view the bike.

As for the lowering of the bike, i've seen them UK bikes with lowering links. I'm not sure if Sg shops does this. But seriously the fireblade is very low, it should be no problem even for a short person. :cheeky:

This is what I know lah, I may be mistaken for some stuff. Maybe the other bros here can contribute to some other stuff that I missed. Maybe Mr Wikipedia (fx110)? :p
