basic maintainence like EO change very 5k.. i think u should do carburator washing and setting(S$70 to $80).. bike not responsive a lot of factors also.. after carburator washing &setting if still nt responsive, u can check out ur valve clearance or valve grinding(a few hundreds $$).. ur endcan got clear carbon(FOC at 2nd link)? this are the few basic stuff la.. :)

nsr 150 sp(FT1969Y)-feb'07 to may'08, CBR 400(FQ5720L)-may'08 to july'09, TA150(FT2661I)-mar'09 to jun'09, Wave110(FT7718R)- Jun'09 - Jan'10, TA200(FX2012E)- Jan'10-May'11, VTR SP1(FS4028Z) - Sept'09 - Jan'12, ZG1400 (FBE5831K)- Jan'12 to Oct'14, Suzuki Hayabusa - Oct'14 to ???

Top overhaul is just the process maybe check wat he have done during the overhaul eg. parts replaced etc. usually the normal change if i nto wrong is 5k for semi syn and 10k for fully syn but i believe can be used extra 15 to 20% mileage unless u going for pure performance :p

lol..they say only mah.. never show u proof of receipt.. :) spark plugs use NGK platinum good enough already.. engine oil gotta choose good ones.. i rather spend abit more on EO than using cheapo EO... :) carburator tuning and washing does a lot of difference.. but plz do it at some trustable bikeshops.. nt any ulu ulu bike shop.. :) EO can last till 5k.. but u hv to check the dip-stick every now and then to ensure that there is no leakage or makan of EO..

pon tan pon tan pon tan.. haha.. monday blues dun feel like going work.. :p later gonna go take MC..

Miracle: dun think the suspension can be adjusted lower to suit ur height.. :) and i also dun recommend changing to a shorter suspension as this will totally change the bike's handling, weight distribution and etc.. :) if u can still tip toe, it is ok.. :) as long as ur legs can touch the ground can liao.. just hv to get used to the bike only.. :)

thats wat i thought so.. changing the suspension might affect the whole bike performance.. still thinking abt it.. dun knw i can handle or not.. haha..

mircale:i also short wad how short i 157cm here also can ride zxr400 wif no problem at all so u sure can do it too cheers!!!

ZX is higher then cbr right?

;5571610']HELLO!!! hahaha

yoz! nw ridng cbr ah? when wan let me try it? lol..

lolx. If CBR is not lower enough... How in the world did u pass your class 2A at the driving centre????????? Coz the 2A bike there definately higher than CBR dude.

If can't handle... Dun force. Its not light by the way... And road users ain't that kind as you think. They will just eat your lane and squeeze u ... Remember, having such bike on the road is totally differenct from what u've experience in the school. No strength... very difficult to manuevre when the going gets tough and unexpected.

FYI, s4 sitting posture is totally diff from CBR thus the difference of hw the leg is placed is different also.. cbr has a fairing which require the leg to spread out bigger.. which means that if i can touch the ground on the s4 doesnt mean i can for CBR..

1 thing is agree with u, is i really lack the strength for CBR.. maybe more strength training..

Anyway, guys, thanks for the help n feedback.. i will consider the factors carefully..

CBR is only about 12kg heavier then super 4, I dun think weight should be a problem. Ryan is talking nonsense, fireblade is not difficult to maneuver, in fact it's excellent maneuverability has saved my a** a great number of times. The only problem due to the fact that you're vertically challenged should be that you have to tip toe when in traffic lights. Also you may want to wear good friction soled shoes, as if you slip your footing when stationary you may drop the bike. (Dun step on tramac on the traffic lights, happen to me before lucky got back my balance):cheeky:

Height should nv be a problem, look at dani pedrosa he is only 158cm tall and he can ride the RC212V with no issue. THe RC212V is about 4.5cm taller then CBR in overall height somemore. See below. Take note how he's positioning his body and yet he can keep the bike absolutely straight. :thumb:

actually zxr400 was my 2nd choice, but nt easy to find one also.. nt cheap to maintain. heh.. at least u still can pillon.. for me.. till date i dare nt pillon.. or rather no ppl dare to let me pillon.. lol.. i tried a few times to pillon n i failed terribly.. i also scare..

eh i am short but nt small in size.. :cheeky: maybe i shld just go with my guts feeling on the bike i intend to take.. hehe..

yea! thats why i always prefer Pedrosa to Rossi.. hehe.. i am still learning the skill of slanting the backside to balance on 1 leg..

no worries.. i dun really care if Ryan is a papaya, he can be a watermelon for all i care.. i dun give a damn.. i just like 'brushing' ppl..

Thanks all for the tips n advise.. i think i will go with my guts feeling.. at most i drop the bike n feel the pain in my pocket.. even my current bike in the beginning i also keep dropping.. i even drop it at a junction when i brake n lose my balance.. hehe.. but when u fall u learn.. so i am always learning.. :)

IMO is ride and handle afew times on the bike then you won't feel the bike is heavy anymore because you've gotten used to it.

1st day got my bike i also feel heavy. lol

If you think you will drop your bike, get sliders. And if you dun mind the look, you can also remove the bottom fairing for a while till you get the hang on the bike.

So what is your "gut feeling" bike? :cheeky:
