stopped behind a mini lorry yesterday on a T junction waiting to go out. when the lorry wanted to go, he jam brake cos there's an indian in front crossing the road. the indian got scared, go n scold the driver.

i feel the pedestrian is in the wrong, usually if i wanna cross a junction with vehicles waiting, i would cross behind the 1st vehicle.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

imho..nevermind who is right or wrong, i doubt the tp will care once someone gets hurt.

as long as a vehicle hit a pedestrian, the driver will always be considered in the wrong, so best to play safe and be actively conscious of one's surroundings..

what if one day otr the lorry driver fails to notice another motorist? or cant brake in time, really hit the pedestrian? or jam brake cause someone to kiss his rear?

if i cross the road, will TRY to tahan until green man, or make sure i only cross at places where im familiar with the pattern/intervals of light change.

just my 2c :p

baby, u're my love..

this has always been an chicken and egg issue, but for me personally i'll let them walk 1st even if the light is in my favour, i'll rev and horn to get their attention, then point to the red man and using sign language and ask if that cannot see huh???

hehehe make them paiseh even crossing the road....if those really heck care life and jeopardise other ppl wan, i straight away %^#$# nv give chance one...

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.
