but heard alot about maintanence problems and parts problem..

 

no friends ride tzm so cant get any info too..

 

also thinking whether izit better to buy from ppl or motordiam too..

erm...actualli is not the matter of buying frm the bike frm whr..coz engine things u haf to depand on ur luck..it mayb looks good on ur 1st since..bt it may broke down once u ride..i mean u woulden know lo....

compare between MOTOTIAM n PRIVATE DEALING

MOTORTIAM:

u haf to go seach for alot of mototiams,coz diff shop sell at diff price..PLS C THE NUMBER plate b4 u find tat bike is cheap..the advantage of buying frm shop is tat u can ask to change things u found on ur bike tat u dun like...n u can ask for new tyre...n other things..

PRIVATE DEALING:

u can't change new things which u dun like....bt if u lucky..u can gt a cheap price..if some1 hu is urgent to let go..n e bike is nt too old..but if gt any problem...take care..

hey heard Jack is selling off his ride. Why don't u PM him or something..Well to say TZM does not have maintanence problems and parts problem would be a lie. Every bike out there has its problems. Buying from private dealings would be much cheaper as u wont have to go thru the motordiam hassle and all that. Parts for the bike u can find plenty of them around so it would be easy getting them. Anyway, looks not as important first as the engine is concern. If you're lucky, u'll find one that's suitable for you. Go on and get that bike of yours and

haha..dunno where u hear dat TZM got alot of problem from..the only thing abt it is dat if u never service the valve often den might cause some problem..i do full service for my bike every 5-6k...haven't had any problem...if u riding one use good 2T...parts wise JB got alot..but alot of chiong ones..but Yamaha in SG got agent..so dun have to worry abt parts..sure have wan..but i selling my bike..hoping to get a Shadow Slasher..but not sure,now paying for a car wif my girlfriend dunno can tahan the Slasher or not...quite sad to sell it...if anyone interested can SMS me at 91730603...

just changed my piston(no.6), power valve(no.2), original racing cdi

 

 

no need to worry about which 2t affects the powervalve. i was using the previous powervalve for more than a year. there were times i was broke and i used 4 ringgit 2t. the powervalve still ok. carbon will build up of course. i changed my power valve for fun. want to try diy lah.

 

powervalve normally jams for people who dont play with rpm 8. like me, everyday also hit rpm 8 at least. sometimes i bring until 13. as long u hit 8 for say once a week, the exhaust gas will be able to flush out the remaining carbon.

 

if u ride the bike for a month at rpm 6, then u r in trouble. carbon will fill the sockets and the power valve wont open.

 

2t more important for piston. carbon is secondary problem. that time i heard someone said use somekind of soda and leave it inside chamber for a day, next day all the carbon come out. true or not?

Actually, you can buy the bike but under "No Ridding Policy".

Most of the people just left out the Battery.... Insufficient battery can lead to many problem... No power, valve break and so on...

 

I'm still pending whether to sell my bike or not... haha...

What is your contact... I remember correctly that I was like you, too impatience to wait for the license and bought a bike without hesitation. But the policy was like "No Ridding Scheme".

Enquired from the motortiam that the no ridding policy must be accompanied by a sub rider inorder to renew road tax and insurance. And the sub rider must have a valid license. So if you attained your qualified driving license, you may cancel the policy and the sub rider to utimately transfer the scheme to self.
