What the fcuk are u talking about ??

What has that got to do with a $15 handle bar ??

We are not talking about tyres or brakes etc ok.

Furthermore Pro Taper only comes in 2 colours Silver or Gold.

The funny coloured ones are made by Renthals.

Oh and since u talking about safetly.

I strongly suggest u stick with stock handle bars by Honda.

Why ? Cuz the Pro Taper bars are thicker and longer (ala John Holmes) and thus creates a longer turning radius.

And if u are going to suggest cutting the bars shorter u'd risk weakening the bar itself.

Oh a one more thing, in order to use Pro Tapers on CB400SF, u need to drill mounting holes for the switches.

So think before suggesting using an almost $200 bar rather than a $15 ah boy bar !

Cheers !

LOL... i read i laugh... Pro tapers bars have markings if u wanna cut the bars to reduce width... I dont tink Pro tapers purposely put the markings there for ppl to cut if it weakens their bars... From their website "1/4´´ cut guides to accurately reduce bar width" Web link : http://www.protaper.com/contents/products/handlebars/index.html

Not every human created equal, ppl often overlook handle bar length.. shoulder width bars for all round normal riding, longer width for more technical riding.. See bars on Trial bikes... shorter width generally for higher speed riding, dats y most sports bike have swept in bars...

Generally its up to individual, tink choppers with super wide over the head bars got anything to do with performance?

Anyways i wont put my life on a $15 bars, a decent bicycle bar cost more then $15...

What a thread! I got almost all the info I need. Like many of my fellow spec IIIs, I want to have a more upright position and a wider grip. I am eyeing the Tag Metal T2 CR Double Hi Bend. The black powdered one is bladdy cool.

Here is a link to what it looks like:

http://www.tagmetals.cc/mx/productdetails.php?id=t2bats

Now my question: Where can I go buy this and have it installed all at once?

Thanks everyone!

Im using Tag Metal T2 Black.. So far so good.. No cut needed.. :cheeky: http://www.everyonesconnected.com/Photos3/Profile/000238/P0238270_0000005.jpg

Need to just adjust the throttle cable and clutch due to height.. N u oso need to use universal clamp.. If im not wrong, i bought at Auntie @ $250+

hope dis help:cheeky:
